2:49 chinese girl in white go go boots...chinese seem to have a thing for white go go boots...i saw a photo in which chinese police women wear white go go boots as part of their uniform.
@monk22yrs You know, I have no idea. The only things about fashion that I caught while I was there was that the Chinese are obsessed with designer labels. They're willing to save up their (unfortunately) meagre paycheck to buy a designer item. It also seems that eastern women like to dress up a little more than western or American girls do
@ukyox2x you're lucky to experience a different culture in person....from what i read, the japanese were also into designer stuff, including expensive american whiskey...
100 years ago tiny feet was a chinese obsession, with binding to create short but deformed feet----the communists ended that
i also saw, online, that purses for men are a status symbol? briefcases haven't caught on? and the equivelent of 15 dollars is the highest bill in china? so hence male purses to carry large $
@monk22yrs From the business men I saw around China, I didn't really pay attention, though I see one Chinese man carrying around a rather nice bag that resembles a purse for his bookbag. I would assume so, the highest bill I ever got in mainland china was a collection of 100 yuan bills (10 each) but sure, if you brought enough with you from the U.S. you were set for a few days. In Hong Kong it's even cheaper, one Hong Kong is $7 USD.
All while the Chinese are saying why the hell are you recording inside of a Wal-Mart!?
