Last weekend I visited an antique store in Ocean Beach, Ca. and purchased The Best American Short Stories of 2005, picked by Michael Chabon. Inside I found a surreal, funny, and strange story by Kelly Link, "Stone Animals". It was a little longer than some of the other stories, but I never wanted it to end. I had never heard of Kelly before this, and was extremely impressed. She is a hell of a writer, no matter what genre you want to lump her into.

Yeah, she's awesome. Check out the VIMEO version, it's longer and she talks about bestiality.
