I remember seeing this on T.V. when I was little. I think it is awfully difficult to satisfy someone's "list". It takes away from a personal approach, and inevitably it is as though you are bringing a false identity to a relationship. Sure there should be standards, but little things that people are in no control of such as race, or height is kind of absurd.

@goodmanraw498 I agree, but I think women in general (even men) get the theory of standards and requirements confused! they are not the same thing! There is nothing wrong with wanting certain things out of a partner, but when you have a long list and turn down someone because they are 5'11 and you specify 6 foot etc that is too much. Meeting someone who meets a long list of "requirements" isn't gonna happen lol. It should be more about having the main things you like and working from there :)

I remember seeing this on T.V. when I was little. I think it is awfully difficult to satisfy someone's "list". It takes away from a personal approach, and inevitably it is as though you are bringing a false identity to a relationship. Sure there should be standards, but little things that people are in no control of such as race, or height is kind of absurd.

I believe the best relationships are where significant others pick up for their partner's inconsistencies. Strong characters do attract one another, but I think they need be weary of each others emotions, as it is easier for strong personalities to penetrate one's impressions. There has to be an open mindedness to allow a relationship the room to grow and nurture; It is benign "K" wants a fairytale introduction but it doesn't guarantee a fairytale conclusion, rather closes the windows of chance.
