If you are thinking of having an abortion this is a must see.
I watched this movie called 180 movie it was very good if you are pro-life or pro-choice, watch this award winning documentary and see where you stand at the end. At least watch the trailer and see if you are interested.
Oh yeah, that's how I remember the news as a kid. I had the hots for Michelle Marsh. Roland looked better with a mustache actually. And the announcer voice, classic!
"Len Berman for Warner Wolf." Given the Falklands battle, I take it this was May(about Mem-Day) 1982. This was just before he went to NBC to be the studio host of NFL 82, with Bill McAtee and the late Pete Axthelm.
Always marveled at how humorless and deadpan Roland Smith, Michelle Marsh, and co. were during the late 70's and early 80's. I remember their coverage of a blizzard around that time period - you'd think the world was coming to an end.
In those days Michele Marsh (one 'L') came across as an earnest young anchor. Rolland Smith (two 'L's) maintained the same intense style of delivery throughout his long career. No matter whether his co-anchor was Ms. Marsh, or Dave Marash or Vic Miles at WCBS, or whoever his co-anchor was at any given time at WWOR.
Hmmm. And all the time I thought it may've had something to do with being in the wake of 'dcbatwing's' account being suspended - and all his clips pulled. That plus the gathering storm clouds as rumoured come next month.
John Stossel is not in this video you idiots.

I'm guessing the Channel 2 News added a 5:00pm report around January-Feburary 1982.

Now that's Nostalgia. You know what Paramount said, "I Love The '80's!" BTW: I was using it as an expression for the news.

Kind odd seeing Rolland mustachioed, since I remember watching him on Ch. 2 as a kid in the mid-80s, by which time he went clean-shaven.

In fact, it was near the end of 1982 that Smith's moustache came off. This was in the spring.

You're a pig looking for an excuse to act like one. How the hell do you get all that from one sentence said and a 52 second clip?

his acct. was announced as closed. But why?
debraj2000 4 years ago
From what he told me by email, he closed his account because of too many requests for dubs and trades. So that's why he's taking another long hiatus.
