I just purchased "Babyface, a collection of hits CD" and it's on there. I forgot he made this song. My goodness, I loved and STILL Love this song. It has a haunting melody about it that is absolutely beautiful....SO glad I bought the CD and rediscovered this song!

this 'version' is not available on any of the sony releases. it's only available on the original "lovers" release from 1987 or (of course) the 12" or 7" single. i've never know why the Sony version of "lovers" was amended, but..oh well! just thought some of you might want to know...cuz I was pissed 20 ood years ago when I bought this album on the Sony pressing. lol
