i think so because that sounds Exactly like the studio track. that looks and sounds like the video and then the poster just put the real song on top. There's a moment where she's singing a loud note while moving her head from left to right. The voice would've sounded ... not perfect basically.

Me uncle Burt is playing double bass in this video. He was a caretaker/janitor at the BBC studio where they made Top of The Pops. They often used the canteen and general staff at the BBC when making the 'live' performances...He's very proud of this particular video and his performance but apologizes for 1.39 when me Ma distracted him and asked him how many sugars he wanted in his tea...as if she didn't know already, tsk!

I don't consider pop to be a demeaning term. Surely when - presumably one of your heroes - RZA re made Say What you Want with Texas he was conciously making a pop record, even with those spiky strings. There is serious pop as in melodic music that is not rock based and then there is shite pop which unfortunately what a lot of hip hop is today - flo rida, 50 cent, eminem alot of the time.

In addition to hip hop, drum and bass, dubstep and other non commercial music forms i love what i consider to be credible pop music - Depeche mode, Pet Shop boys, massive attack and New Order. pop music like you say can be shit but there is good and bad in all of these music forms. Soulja boy - shite, flo rida shit, most commerical - or pop RnB- is shite. At least Girls Aloud or the Sugababes are truthful about what they make unlike 'serious' artists.
