I saw them for the very first time in San Luis Obispo, CA when they first did this tour in '03. That gig changed my life. Death metal was the chosen path!

I agree, Mike is truly unique in both the brutal death metal world (Retch, Devourment, etc) and the "regular" death metal world (nile, necrophagist, cannibal corpse etc) he's as technical and creative as they get in his soloing

This band is on out of five bands that inspired me to make a Death metal band... Mike Gilbert is one of my inspirations to play guitar... Severed Savior has Anthony Trapani as their vocalist now I still wish they had Dusty... Murray Fitzpatrick makes those bass taps look like art!!!
