hopefully John figured out that what he sang about and what Jesus preached about concerning our role and purpose as human beings on this earth wasn't that different, and accepted Christ before he died. Who knows what was going on in John's heart as he was driven by police car with 5 bullets in his back to Roosevelt Hospital. Maybe his "Bigger than Jesus" statement in 1966 came to mind as foolish. Maybe he figured out that Jesus was who he said he was.
