Wellington Mara loved the Giants almost as much as his own children. He hired Tom Coughlin, and had a lot to do with building this championship team. He wasn't here to celebrate, but his presence was felt by a lot of us that day. And that's why I shed many tears during the trophy presentation. Even now, I get emotional watching this.
