I have one , and it is BEAUTIFUL ! The Colt quality shines through , she is built as if you'd melted a bank vault full of swiss watches ! She stands out in a rack of other doubles , just like the sexiest woman at the dance ; ) >

My double barrel is a J stevens & arms Model 315 "Springfield"built between 1896 and 1914 (there is no id or date written on the gun, but i know later models did have dates) Hammerless, some jackass in the family decided it would be better sawed off a few inches without asking the owner, and there isnt much elegant about the thing. Its a great shooting shotgun though. I use it every time I bird or varmit hunt.
