The disease can be deadly for some, and for others it wreaks havoc, and can affect the skin. If you are familiar with singer Seal, the scars on his face are a result of the disease. She's spoken about it before, so I'm still stunned that I frequently hear about her 'aging'. Anywhoo, just thought I'd mention it. :-)

Say that again girl. Today it seems as though a lot of women will settle for anything because of lack of self love. ..these kids today don't really have anything that teaches good morals and values. I watched this this morning and as many times as I've seen this episode it brought tears to my eyes..
im 13 n i like this show they should bring back stuff like diss the "Classics" now its all bullshit i with they bring back shows like keenan & kel moesha different world ect,.. now its all jersey shore and hannah montana n a bunnch of bullcrap
what i really like about his show is that it depicts both sides. as unpleaasant as it is, i'm sure women beaters have a reason and a justification for doing it even if we dont agree. this show shows that and lets you choose sides although in this cas i'm gonna opt not to beat women
All the women on this show: Whitley, Freddie, Lena, Gina, Kim, Jaleesa, and Charmaine were all such strong, beautiful, and intelligent women. Great role models for sisters everywhere, Too bad they don't have characters like this on t.v. anymore.
