What do people have against the use of the 5th Amendment?
Seems to me that we should want to protect the 5th Amendment, to keep it strong.
It's one of the best parts of America.

Unfortunately many people who commit crimes/corrupt acts try to use our constitutional rights to get out of being punished for their actions.
The 5th Amendment deals with due process...basically everything that has to do with prosecuting the accused. It's purpose is basically to protect accused people who are actually innocent from being treated unfairly. Unfortunately, those that are truly guilty use these rights to their advantage, and that's what that comment was referring to.

The 5th Amendment has to treat the guilty and the innocent the same or it's not worth the paper it's writen on...

I would say that if I were running in an election against the person in this video, all I would need to do is show him talking about attacking the Constitution's Fifth Amendment!
We cant allow people with views like this to stay in leadership positions where they can do damage to our national civil rights.
People that get frustrated by our Constitutional protections need to slow down and think about what they are saying..
