Besides, I think this song is still different to man of a thousand faces, they have COMPLETELY different moods:)

@demonicadvent Who knows, this song just might be on a future album. Reggie did say that she's quite grateful for her fans recording her rare songs, as she turns to those recordings to relearn those songs that she would've otherwise forgotten.

I hope to see Begin To Hope officially released on a future album of hers.

Does anybody know why this brilliant and beautiful song has not been officially released yet? Especially, gotta wonder why it didn't show up on the album "Begin to Hope??" Does she even play it live much? Ever? I love it so much.

Regarding "Man with a thousand faces," which came first?

@klachopis Begin to Hope came first, but obviously it would appear that this song has been discarded and recycled into the melody of "Man of a Thousand Faces." Odds of us seeing her play this again seem slim. :( Though you never know... she did say that ANY of her old songs are fair game for a coming album. It just depends on what she actually remembers how to play... e.g. we're never seeing "Braille" again. :(

It does seems to be her struggle to at least to reach out and communicate her existence so she's not forgotten (I grabbed my sharpie and wrote my message on the wall, ..And I won't be back until you know my name)- which could fit in with someone in a concentration camp or gulag but it may be just a more common tale of someone trying to escape an unwanted obscurity. I'm not really sure.
