  • sounds like he/she is farting!!! XD

  • it sounds like static

  • PAUSE THE IGNORANCE: For your information, whaling--to capture and sell or kill for their oils etc. is illegal in the majority of the US. This means that most whales in captivity likely came from different parts of the globe and were traded into the "industry." SeaWorld and other parks are not allowed to capture whales for their own profit.

Do your homework. It makes you look a little less like a dumb ass.

  • ...what a beauty...

  • You know, sitting here reading all the comments people have posted here, I've learned a few things... I've learned that people try to tell what animals are saying and how another should feel. Yes, both sides make good points; orca's shouldn't be in captivity but once they are, there's nothing that can be done. The ocean is a dangerous place for them; all the whalers out there, oil tankers... humans that are ruining their environment. Places like SeaWorld can act as a safe haven for them

  • No one knows what they're really saying. Until we develop a device that can do inter-species communication we can't tell what they are saying. Places like SeaWorld are wonderful; they give us the opportunity to learn about these magnificent creatures and how to help preserve their natural environment, but yes... animals should be free; without the chance of becoming a whale kabob

  • I want to blast off in a huge rocket ship!

  • shamu: hi everyone look at me!

  • Let them out. That´s so fucked up. Try being kept captive in a room for 1 day. One day. And dare say it didn´t suck. Try 2, 3, how long before it´s a nightmare. Heartless assholes.

  • @Regulification I totally agree

  • when i was a kid i used to think the white part was the eyes

  • Cool

  • awww he's so cute!!! I hate anti-captivity comments....it's hurtful to seaworld and me because i work there and all the whales that we have at seaworld are happy!!! :)

  • He cried "let me out..!"

and everybody take a photo of him, and don't see the pain in his eyes...

  • LET THE DAMN ANIMALS OUT! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO IMPRISON THEM??? How about we lock you damn money-makers in the ocean on a small ocean isle??? They have their own societies, families and feelings!

  • It was telling us how much it wants to kill us...evil bastard whales

  • Orcas are carnivorous, you know to ocean animals we look like seals, when is the last time shamu had a mice juicy mouthwatering seal.

  • FREE SHAMUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

  • So ein Tier gehört in die Freiheit ..

  • shamu saw a fatchick and was trying to ask her how she could live out of hte water

  • he says: take 1 more picture and i will bite ur freakin head off ur body and shove it up ur butt!! *ya, i went there*

  • I hope you guys know that Shamu is just a stage name. they have other names....

  • OMg i miss him i went there like 3 years ago and saw him. I just feel inlove with him. But i heard he died!;(

  • Listen people. Most of the first orcas in captivity were rescued from the wild. And you can't stop them from mating so they mated in captivity. Putting their young into the wild after being born into SeaWorld would be more cruel because they wouldn't know what to do because they have already adapted to living at SeaWorld. SeaWorld is a great place for people to understand that we all share this world and making connections with animals is essential. Troll me all you want, I love SeaWorld.

  • @kidatheartxo16 I listen to you, if you agree to get locked up for the sake of studying, and showing other humans, what it´s like to see a human locked up. Say you were getting something in return. What is enough to convince you to stay in captivity away from family, and your friends, your society?. They are not so different...

  • @Regulification He isn't away from his family! He was born there by his mother and father who live there too. Anytime that whales that were taken out their habitat and put into captivity was over 30 years ago. All the whales living today are the offspring of that generation. What was done 30 years ago was bad, but we can't change the past. And putting calves and their mothers back in the wild would be wrong because they would surely die.

  • @kidatheartxo16 right on, man!

  • provlem whapes were born in captivity and copy what mothers do who were also born in captivity. they know nothing about hunting for themselves. they would if released follow people around and get hit by a boat or something.

  • @buddyrain100 or they would follow boats with people which would get them hurt or cause problems in harbors. They can't live without people at this point. People need to stop "wanting them free", not because they don't deserve it, but because it's a death sentence to them. Plus the babies don't know what the ocean is!

  • actually, i never thought that the white spot is their eye. their eye is under it toward the far edge of the spot

  • LET'S TALK ABOUT ROCKETSHIP!!

  • I remember petting Shamu when I was a kid. God! It was one of the best things to ever experience! x3

  • GET IN MUY TANKKKK HUMAN. SHAMMU HUNGRAYYY.

  • He's asking for a Budweiser, people.

  • When i was little i used to think the big white circles next to their eyes was their eyes :)

  • guys just shut up ur not a killer whale so how the fuck u know whats it saiyng,u try living in the ocean see if u die while fighting sharks.

  • I want to get out of here, Let me out,

I want to swim in the bigger waters,

I want to feel the salty ocean breeze in my blowholes and hear the sounds of the ocean,

I bet the seas would be fresher and different than this water they pump in here,

I want to see how it is like outside, Come on, Let me out please,

I haven't swam with my pod since such a long time,

I don't even know how my cousins must look now,

I want to go play and swim and sing along long melodies with them, ...

  • I bet they would be swimming half the way around the world enjoying their vacations,

I bet they have seen icebergs and pushed growlers around tooo,

My mommy used to tell me stories about them and how I'd get to see them once I grew old enough,

How I'd get to chase and feast upon some of the most delicious fish the ocean has to offer,

Only now I have to eat this dead frozen stuff,

I'm so bored and tired in here, It's so noisy,

I don't belong here, I promise I will be good, Please let me out!!!

  • Nakai is such a goofy orca :)

  • Orca is a social animal_he just wants to talk with some other orcas, about freedom, about deep blue ocean, not with those "two-leg-walking", who only wants him to "do this" or "do that" for a few dead little fishes_i would like to watch all of you, imprisoned like this, doing all htey said you to do, and without someone who really understands you

  • @tilicoom: That is so true!!! :(

  • this vid maker is a dumb ass_he wants us to let him free, not "talks"_

  • "ge my ass outta here"

  • LISTEN YOU F***ING ASSHOLES!!!!! NAKAI WAS BORN IN CAPTIVITY AND HE'S NEVER BEEN TO THE WILD!!!!! HE WOULD DIE IN THE WILD!!!! SO STOP LEAVING THESE FUCKING COMMENTS! ALSO, THIS PERSON CLEARLY GOES TO SEAWORLD SO DON'T PUT ANTI CAP COMMENTS!!!!!!!! YOU FUCKTARDS!!!!

  • @NatalieB1231 Dude, Rick O'Barry, Earth Island Institute and similar people/organisations have the necessary experience to (re)introduce these animals to the wild.

Oh and just chill out and take life easier, bitch :-)

  • @NatalieB1231 Bottom line is, there should never have been any killer whales in captivity to begin with! Okay we may not be able to help those were born in captivity, but to continue breeding them is ridiculous! Just because they don't know any better doesn't make this any less wrong! Money, that's all they fucking care about.

  • Well seeing as most Shamu's are born in captivity I seriously doubt that he wants to go back to the wild seeing as he has never been there. Even if he was released he would probably die after a few days.

  • Yes Shamu is saying he wants to get the F@ck out of there! Orcas belong in the ocean!!!!

  • GET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE! I AM A WILD CREATURE WITH A FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN THE OCEAN. HOW DID I GET INTO THIS PRISON & WHY??? HELP!!!!!!!!!

  • @DoveDancing Wow. Calm down. Most of these orcas are born in captivity. Most have no relatives or friends in the ocean. If you put a captive bred orca in the ocean it'll die.

  • @Warriorscats1 Better to DIE wild and free than be YOUR slave in CAPTIVITY!

  • Our animal friend here probably says, "Get me out of here, I do not like to live in a bloody aquarium, I am a beast of the oceans!!!"

Do not ever go to these places of torture. Go snorkeling, diving and see these magnificent animals in their natural habitat!

  • @VikLightbringer Or instead of getting your ass eaten you can marvel at them from afar or animal planet.

  • I came here for South Park.

  • will you finally load him on a truck to mexico and shoot him to the moon? !!!

  • @SpiritWanderer91 I think shamu rather lives on the moon than in fcking sea world!

  • I've got no issue just leaving these amazing animals alone, let them enjoy nature as God intended. Although I understand that humans from past generations hurt some animals, making them endangered. But I've been to Seaworld and would not go back just because these creatures should just be left in nature. Just my 2 CENTS, nobody freak out

  • omg let him out. that's not a happy orca sound... it's so sad my heart dropped -___-"

  • He say : Let me out of this place, I want to swim in the ocean, not in this fucking pool.

  • @reptilerouge @bitemesushi You two need to get bent.

  • @reptilerouge some whales were born there for your info

  • @reptilerouge shamu is a girl.

  • @reptilerouge Yeah let's take him back to the ocean so he can die like every other whale because he's not accustomed to the environment anymore.

No, this is the best place for him NOW. Maybe not the best overall, but it's what we'll all have to live with. Just swallow it. It ain't as bad as you make it out to be.

  • "so... you guys liking the view- I remember when I first got here-"

  • @buddyrain100 The fact that it entertains people to see these animals up close is no excuse to keep them in captivity. In the wild, they can travel over 100 miles a day, live in huge family groups, and have freedom. Putting them in a tank and having them do tricks is not exactly respectful of the animals, and saying that this in any way compares to their natural life is ridiculous. Focusing on the animal's quality of life, it is clear that seaworld is wrong.

  • @buddyrain100 You just compared them to "pets." They're not pets. Typical pets like cats, dogs, bunnies, etc. are not as out of their element in captivity as cetaceans are. I have been to Sea World, and really, it's not the only way to know an animal. Being in those tanks are detrimental to their health. They are able to swim for miles and miles in a day alone, and can't get the same amount of physical exercise in those tanks, not to mention the effects the concrete has on their echolocation.

  • @IrukunTheTuna Although some of the animals at seaworld are raised in captivity, there are others that are rescued. Unfortunately we have not realized how important their natural environment is to them. Any animal will adapt but when you force them into a cage...rebellion will come.

  • @IrukunTheTuna: U are so right!!!

  • @buddyrain100 What a load of bollocks! Do you even realise how unbelievably selfish that makes you? Wow yeah, how great for you that these poor animals are kept in these ridiculous tanks just so you could see one up close. You want to see an orca? There are plenty of opportunities, boat trips that allow you to see them...in the wild!

  • @xTheCranberriesx: Very true!!! :(

  • @buddyrain100 instead of being a lazy fuck and going to a "park" to see animals, how about you go and see them in the wild? btw they don't get 5 star treatment. they get kept in tanks with just enough room to live but not enough room to have a lot of freedom. its like being locked in your room for your entire life

  • @buddyrain100 Bitch Please. that's why we have National Geographic.

i dont need to go to parks and eat whale meat while i watch them performing. or go to sea world just to say "oh so this is what Orcas look like" I bet you're one of those people who still think that white spot is their eyes....

    oh the life ....

  • they're cries of pain and loneliness

  • How in the world can they be in the ocean? The baby orcas you see today copy their mothers. Those mothers copy their mothers and so on. No hunting or survival skills are included. They have a very strong bond with their trainers. Like when you teach your pet a behavior you form a stronger bond. Tilicum is 34 years old and 2 tons. That is an old and is not releasable. I do want them in the wild but you have to think if they do have the ability to live. Unlike keiko who died.

  • Was he squeaking like Willy in the Free Willy movies?

  • i think he's saying ''hello how are you doing today'' or ''what's up''.

  • omg, he's saying "get me out of here! please, help me! I dont want to be here !" help him!!!

  • Silly Nakai! He's a goof ball :D

  • Unbelievable, that there are still people out there visiting dolphinariums, and are showing these horrible videos.

Haven't you learnt anything of Rick O'Barry, the former Flipper-trainer?

Showing this video means, you support these profit-greedy people earning money with this poor animals living in captivity and suffer every single second of their life.

  • he is saying LET ME OUT!!!!

  • doesnt sound too happy. sounds like my dog when he wants to be let of the cage.

  • "let me out of this tank you sneaky fuckin bastard"

  • so sad. selfish humans.

  • nice robot... XD

  • Orcas are very social :)

  • You know what, it pisses me off when some people say 'these Orca's would not survive in the wild if we set them free' Yes, a vast majority probably would not. But that doesnt mean we should carry on treating them like this by making them do summersaults whilst the 'venga boys' are playing in the background its cruel These animals should be moved to a enviroment that allows them to live more like wild orca's, they wil still be in captivity so they will be safe, but they'll be so much more happier

  • This breaks my heart.

  • Free Willzyx!!

  • Poor thing... He should be free...

  • @Furim Free like Keiko, who was rejected by his own family and died of pneumonia. Great idea.

  • if i get 50 likes ill go to my mum and go im a whle and start making those noises for one hour to her

  • Comment removed

  • Actually this is a female Killer Whale, her calls are like that of her mother who was a member of a southern resident pod. She cannot, nor any other captive bred, killer whale or any other cetecean be released to the wild, they will not be able to fend for themselves and will not be adopted by a pod. What you see in Free Willy is fiction, what happened to Willy in the movie will not happen in real life. Ask a trainer, they will tell you the same thing.

  • the real shamu is in florida thats a fake

  • @hnmajd The real Shamu died in the 70's. Now all the orcas take her stage name, but they all have individual names.

  • What I would suggest is NOT GOING TO SEAWORLD in the first place - this is just supporting the catching (and killing) of even more whales. See "The Cove".

  • @helenetuff

There is a law that does not allow anyone to catch marine mammals at all it is called the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972.

  • Good ol Shamu

  • something tells me this video has nothing to do with pizza lol

  • Im tired of this bullshit that everyone comments that they need to free whales like if were jessy while they are the first idiots going to seaworld

  • Notice the marks on his rostrum from rubbing the glass and the sunburn on his head.

    Captivity = bad for orcas.

  • but do you really want to keep a whale that killed a human in sea world? let him free he will learn how to survive if he does not there's nothing we can do about it the human race is more important than any sea creature and all you die hard animal loving fans sorry to offend you but think if that dead person was you or your family member would you like that?

  • cute baby <3

  • He says "I want a cookie do you have a cookie because I would eat it"

  • OMG i swear it looks like it has fur

  • haha what a stupid creature, and ugly...

  • @Nickmorama He'd probably say the same about you...

  • @BullRadu your being rude here i was just saying that dumb shit

  • sea world is stupid!id sue them if i had to

  • translation: "help me! I'm tired of this shit! ... fucking help me!!"

  • i still wonder what he/she is saying can someone help me out here i really can't speak whale!!!!!!!!!!

  • @junkman661 Dory from Finding Nemo could help! XD

  • i dont even think its shamu

  • what is shamu saying besides i don't speak whale.

  • Free Billy, send him to the moon...

  • its so cute <3 i love killer whales

  • Probably saying help me get out of this small tank because it is killing me!!!!

  • @FlyAJay its not killing him and if he was release he wouldn't survive because he was not taught how to survive in the actual OCEAN. he is fine so get yourself a tampon and get over it.

  • @annathealmighty Wow, pretty harsh for a light hatred comment!

  • @FlyAJay All these people on here talking LET HIM FREE are basically saying LET HIM DIE

  • Reminds me of Majin Buu XD

  • let them free

  • awwww! i <3 him

  • awes! <3

  • Cute little Trua <3

  • @ALoveForOrcas its nakai (:

  • @Almostorca798 x( still working on id. Usually im pretty good. grrr

  • wow ... this is horrible .. how can seaworld use poor animals like this for money...

thumbs up if u think its BS HOW THEY R STILL LETTING TILIKUM in sea world ... that was a great example of y these beautifull mamals shld be in the ocean

  • OMG IM GONNA GO THERE HOPE THAT HAPPENS 2 ME

  • Please, let him out. What a sad vid...

  • He's saying..."kill me...plz...kill....me"

  • That animal does not sound happy. :/

  • he looks tasty

  • @TheMachomaniac lol eww

  • Can't you see, he is smiling :)

  • @michendo Richard O'Barry once said 'A dolphin's smile is the greatest deception. It creates the illusion that they're always happy.' Safe to say this applies since the orca is part of the dolphin family. I highly suggest you watch the movie 'The Cove.' These animals are not happy.

  • thats so sad,,, people take a wild animal, put it in a huge cage and use him for money ... he wants to swim in the ocean like his family are prob doing... sea world freaks out when a trainer gets hurt or even killed... but its ok for them to trap him... hes all by himself... people need to get a lifeee... video is amazing but that saddddd!

  • Translation: "...AND FIRE SHALL RAIN FROM SEA AND SKY! Heed my words, puny landswhales. OUR EMPIRE SHALL RISE AND YOURS SHALL FALL! GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!"

  • he sounds like a sqeeky toy my dogs have

  • He's saying "let me out of this prison"!!!

  • @ttowqleirthweiouth if they did he would die because he would have to find another pod and he would have to re-learn how to hunt :)

  • Shamu: Uhh yes i would like a Pizza topped with fish and a side salad and i will have some plain fish for dessert.

  • thats Willzyx

  • @XWickedxJester18X wow your orca mind reading skills are FAIL! Nakai was born there, he is with his mother and family pod. Way to go with that anthropomorphism. You should get a job with Miss Cleo!

  • LOL all you anti-cap people are hilarious! Let's set him free even though he was born here! He misses the ocean even though he's never seen it before! He's crying even though this is the call his pod uses! Hahaha you guys crack me up!

  • @orcasound79 So you're ok with seeing an animal in a tiny pool performing tricks for you, like some sort of deranged, brainwashed circus animal? It doesn't matter if he was 'born there.' This is giving people the wrong idea; teaching children that it's okay to use animals for personal amusement and keep them in confined areas. Gee, I WONDER why Tilly killed her trainer...

  • @stardustdraik

You're so misinformed, you don't even know Tilikum's gender, you people need to STFU and GTFO off youtube.

  • He wants to be free! Stop keeping animals in cages for entertainment....

  • its not sad thats just its call ._. a whale call

  • thats so sad!!!! he should be in the ocean

  • @Isaac8jasper8 Releasing a creature that was raised in captivity to the wild would be terrible, they'd be weak and likely be hunted, or unable to hunt and starve, within a very short period of time.

  • @deviant3232 I'm glad someone is educated. While it isnt fair for such a large animal to be kept in captivity, if thats all the animal has ever known it would not be a successful release.

  • @deviant3232 Ooooooooooooooor, Asians

  • @deviant3232 thats why we shouldn't put them in captivity in the first place

  • @deviant3232 Exactly and they're so much happier in captivity. They are treated basically like royalty and really loved. They don't even have to hunt for their food because its given to them. xD They also live longer in captivity. :) As long as you treat them right and give them a lot of love I'd say captivity would be best.

  • @abusehater101 You know fuc all The average lifespan of a orca in captivity is round about 7 yrs their lifespan in the wild is round about 35 So shut up you know no facts Also these animals ENJOY hunting and killing their own food they have natural instinct and it stimulates their brain when they do so In the wild they can swim for miles a day they are in their natural habitat, In captivity the are kept in a large swimming pool and made to perform everyday They are so much better off in the wild

  • @94CHL Uhhh... no. Actually they do live longer in captivity. They do enjoy themselves in whatever situation because its all they know and if they're treated right they WILL have a good time.

Why don't you explain yourself then on why its okay to have cats, lions, dogs, or FISH. Goa ahead this should be great. - .-

  • @abusehater101 No they don't, its a fact there life span in captivity is much shorter than it would be if they were in the wild. Look it up, its a fact. Also, many of these whales/dolphins have committed suicide due to stress etc, as they cant cope with there lifestyle. Dolphins get ulsours etc, because they are incredibley sensative to sound, and hearing the crowd roar everyday is incredibly stressfull for them. They do not enjoy life in captivity, i assure you that now.

  • @abusehater101 Cats/dogs are ok to keep as pets as its in our ability to care for them. We are able to give to them what they got out of the wild if not more. Lions, etc i believe it is wrong to keep them in captivity aswell, they are wild animals and should be in the wild. But at the end of the day most lions are kept in safari parks which resembles there natural habitat. As most of these lions would not survive in the wild, but aslong as they are kept as wild as possible then it is okay.

  • @94CHL Well then as long as a whale is kept as wild as possile its okay. How do dogs have more as pets than in the wild? In the wild they can run long distances and hunt for their food which is natural instinct and stimulates their brain. You really contradict yourself
