  • FF13 the worst FF game ever??? No way, only 1 FF game takes that sppon award and its one of the very earliest games... yes FF2 was truely shocking, despite having great characters and a great story its battle and level system were essentially shockingly bad... however alot of people who dislike 13 or 12 have never even experienced the likes of FF6, 5 or 4 which are all gems, not just 7-9 which I'll admit are my favs but still FF2 was terrible

  • This is a very beautiful song. But i think it will be better if Nobuo Uematu was here ;D

    Love Final fantasy

    Love Final Fantasy song.<3

  • FF games have such great pop songs. I <3 Kiss Me Goodbye, Zero, Why, Suteki Da Ne, Real Emotion, Melodies of Life. So many good songs XD

  • I actually like this better than "My Hands".

  • wasn't this in fairy tail...wait no...AGH IDK...

  • if there is a Japanese voice acting and English subtitle version of the game i would stand in the line 3 day before it it released = =.

  • @KevvlFan

There is a version like that, Final Fantasy XIII (English + Chinese Version)

It gives you Japanese Voices, and the option to have a English or Chinese Menu. Works for North America PS3! But it came out a while back.

  • @toyaaishere SERIOUSLY?!! Oh god.I have been wanting to play the game ever since i the first time i play final fantasy 9. No voice acting in 9 through. Still, i just love this kind of game ><. Same goes with kingdom heart. if i can get a Japanese voice acting and English sub game i would be playing it forever.

  • @KevvlFan

Just type on Google, Play Asia FFXIII English + Chinese. It's currently out of stock, but you can do the check box to have them notify you when it's in stock. Hope this helps! Support FF13/FF13-2 everyone!! :D

  • For some reason i just HATE the voice acting for the English version of the game, i like the Japanese version better.(my opinion)

  • @KevvlFan I will agree with you on certain voices such as Vanille's but I thought over all the voice acting even for the English version was very well done, the voices fit the characters and they did seem to show effort in their roles. Also this song is boss my My Hands is still amazing IMO

  • I prefer this to My Hands, but I'm not that into Leona Lewis anyway.

  • Even though I don't play Final Fantasy

I really love this song :D its beautiful

  • nice love it :)

  • I love this song. And I hate the version from Leona Lewis...... i kicked the song from my Soundtrack...

It's 1000'times better than "My Hands" shit, sorry but it's true -.-

Why is this song not on all versions... T-T

  • i prefer this song over my hands.

  • l got my major exam results slip today, l was not looking forward to it as l know l did badly for my maths, worried my family & friends will be disappointed in me. My friend always cheered me up that l won't fail. When l've gotten it, l saw my name is promoted to next level. l was shocked and cried alittle when l saw my results. l'm listening to this song now as l know l've gone through alot of hard work experience & struggling along the way with my friends together this year just like FFXIII :)

  • @thxsyou =) thats nice to hear good for you!

  • woo the ps3 version of ff13-2 gets the japanese main theme!!! instead of the really cheesy english version by charice....

  • @DaRkLoRd1061 if you get the japanese version of FF13-2.... you can get the english version of ff13-2 in english version

  • @DaRkLoRd1061 lol actually we get Charice. Only the Japanese version for the PS3 is with Mai Fukui.

  • I always prefer original Japanese dub, with very very few exceptions (for example Lost Odyssey). I don't like to play japanese games or watch anime with english voices, just as I'd not like to watch an american movie or disney film with a japanese dubbing. I did not buy this game for that reason, but now that I know that the asia version has the original dub, I finally bought it.

  • @jikili same here. but games and anime arent the same really. Like FF games, that could be good sometimes even with english voices. But then again, it is a game and the art is more real - the style is quite different than anime. Though, I really agree with you that dubbing anime is stupid. Cause THAT sounds horrible :P

  • @jikili I understand that Same here, especially with anime. I wouldn't be able to watch throw an episode of some anime with english dub. However, I think games are different. Sure, I really prefer the original dub in japanese. But I would say that it can be okay sometimes with english voices when it comes to games. But then again - I prefer the original as well. XIII-2 is coming to EU very soon, and I'll just have to stick to the english version :< but the main characters voices seems to be okay

  • wonderfull soundtracks for one of the worst Games of Final Fantasy Saga. But still one of the best games for its genre :D

  • After watching the complete FF13 cutscenes. I must say that Leona Lewis's "My Hands" song is actually great to the emotions of the ending sequence and the closing credits. Don't get me wrong, I like this music as well. But I suppose they're both different and they're both really good and well chosen to be played at the right time. I'd go with either songs. Both are perfect for me :)

  • WTH? this isnt on the english version???

  • This is good, but My Hands is better.

  • my hands > jpop trash

  • @ajink3ya Kimi Ga Iru Kara > pop trash

  • @ajink3ya I'm gonna have to disagree, first off this doesn't deserve to be called jpop trash. Its quite a beautiful song and i much prefer it to my hands

  • the one who's is dislike this is an stupid idiot

  • Damn i wish this song was in the american release. My Hands doesn't sound that good.

  • fab4miner is a dumbass. The game had cut out content, yes, but not because of the fact that it was on the Xbox 360. It was three discs on the 360 because of the compression methods they used for the CGI scenes.

  • @RPGgamerVII We, how sure are you that it was not because of 360? The game itself was only 8GB, which is nothing to bluray. In the middle of the dev, SE announced that they will port the game to 360. Then we saw graphics deteriorate for ps3. SE gave excuses that the town in HD is very time consuming and need large space, but wait, they were doing it for 5 years of dev, and considered one of the longest dev of all ff series. Large space? the game alone is only 8gb, they could have max it out

  • @fab4miner Most of the cut out content was also due to time constraints. The game had plenty of ideas and whatnot from 2006-2008, but they didn't really start rolling on the game until April 2009 after the demo released alongside the Final Fantasy VII Advent Children PS3 bundle in Japan.

  • @RPGgamerVII Time constraint bla bla bla. Had it not they planned to port it to 360, they would have had plenty of time to focus on just PS3, don't you agree with that simple fact?

  • @RPGgamerVII The hidden truth is, when they decide to port to 360, they already realized that 360 wont be able to fit all the contents. Since they want to make it identical, they sacrifice this feature. Town creation is one of the most important features in all ff series, and because of that, ff fans were cheated

  • @fab4miner No, dumb ass. All that content was cut out before it was ever on 360. According to Toriyama, there was enough content cut out for a whole new disc. However, they cut it out because of the plot and how Lightning and co. were fugitives. I don't like the Xbox 360, but when you go around flaunting bullshit I'm going to call your dip shit ass out on it. The reason FFXIII was three discs on 360 was because of the compression methods for audio and video. So get your facts straight, dumb ass.

  • @RPGgamerVII There, "there was enough content cut out for a whole new disc." now go to your bed and think about it before you sleep. Mate, you only eat whatever SE staff were saying. "you gotta eat shit" and you would heed, "OK, I'll eat that shit". That's the situation now. They gave so much excuses. They could've made it on 4 discs, for the love of god it keeps on recycling here. Yes they did say they will port to 360 once they've fin with ps3 but I think you will also eat that shit as well

  • @RPGgamerVII Hey Mr. Fact, I know you too had a lot of reading. And....that's the only thing you know. Once you read, interpret it as a smart consumer. It is obvious you don't know how to use your brain.

  • @fab4miner Wow you're a dumb ass. You obviously don't know what the fuck you're talking about so I won't say anything about. Keep on bullshitting!

  • @RPGgamerVII Aww, it's OK hun, go back to bed

  • Comment removed

  • never heard this on my play through!!! T_T GRHAAAHHH!!!

  • @enikyne It was Japanese exclusive.

  • @RPGgamerVII slowpokes, are you in dinosaur age? it is not exclusive no more even in Japan. Do some reading Mr dumbass

  • @fab4miner I know that stupid. The Ultima version or whatever the fuck it's called was ported to 360 with easy mode.

  • How do you pronounce Lightning's last name? FAYrron? or FAHrron?

  • Comment removed

  • @RyckuuXyu No, I mean how do you PRONOUNCE it? Not spell it....

  • Final Fantasy 7 (CC) - Why

Final Fantasy 8 - Eyes On Me

Final Fantasy 9 - Melodies Of Life

Final Fantasy 10 - Suteki Da Ne

Final Fantasy 13 - Kimi Ga Iru Kara

-Such purtyful music <3 Hope FFXIII versus will kickass :)

  • @fab4miner

You have a point there bro...

    Squaresoft > SquareEnix

SquareEnix focus more in graphics than storyline and gameplay.. but the problem is many gamers now will not buy games that have graphics like ps1 game even though the storyline and the gameplay is good.. I miss game like suikoden 1 & 2, Wild arms, breath of fire, and most of other rpg games from ps1. Poor graphics but great storyline and gameplay..

  • Square Enix's focus: Bring Vanille and Fang back.

  • Final Fantasy XIII is legendary love it Final Fantasy forever

  • fang i gonna rescue you in ff13-2 i promise hahahah xD

  • Gosh, they make NEW games, not replicas of the old ones. It's not very easy to make a hole new universium, characters, etc. I think FFXIII is good game. It's not like the other FFs are, but it's different. It's unique, just like every other game. They are not supposed to be like each others.

  • The MORON that decided to take out this AWESOME WORK OF ART in the English release needs to be shot! I'm dead serious, they better not do this for FFXIII-2 !

  • @Pos3nSMil3 Imma smack a bitch if they do it again, ugh <_<

  • @Pos3nSMil3 Tell it to those who replaced it with an equally good song, which is My Hands by Leona Lewis. Don't limit yourself to just J-Pop, you know? There are people who liked that song, but it depends on their tastes.

  • @Pos3nSMil3 They did already! That so motherfucker, i,m ff lover but that really2 annoying.

  • @Pos3nSMil3 Actually, I really like My Hands, and thought that considering they didn't have enough time to dub this and had to pick a song, they made a choice that fit the plotline fairly well.

But everyone has their own opinions :)

  • @QueenAllyJean Don't feel bad. I bought FFXIII in both Japanese and English. What I fool I was.

  • @Ko009 a*

  • @QueenAllyJean I agree, I like the direction they took with the art and the music.

  • @Pos3nSMil3 I love this song man. But I thought Leona Lewis' "My Hands" was just more suitable for the English Speaking Market. It also gave me shivers when the trailer came out with that song. But hey... i respect your opinion. ALSO. THEY DID KEEP THE MAIN SONG OF THE JAP 13-2 for the English 13-2. Its pretty much a port. Same melody, near identical instrumentals... and I must say... they did listen to fans like us (to keep the original song)... but it didn't end up so well.. (Charice... =.=)

  • @Retrospec001 I do understand that Square-Enix wanted to make a localisation that's complete. But replacing an entire song with another is just too much. I mean, When we look back at FF X-2, where the song's Lyrics are the only one localised into English but keeping the music and everything intact. It was really nice and I grew up to enjoy the english song better. (well that's maybe because I don't understand Japanese.) But yea, they should localise the lyrics only instead of a whole song.

  • @Pos3nSMil3 Let me answer your question on that, they'll actually have the same song in XII-2, but sung by different people. I'd imagine they were probrably unable to get the song to the us because of copyright issues.

  • @Pos3nSMil3 They already did do it for 13-2 T_T

  • @Pos3nSMil3 they are doing it ....(mostly due to it being multi-platform)

  • @Pos3nSMil3 Blame Yoichi Wada...

  • A hard fan should know that square enix main purpose on making ff13 a multi platform is for megabucks. 360 dvd storage sucks so much that enix was unable to make this game a complete ff rpg. Point A to Point B game. There is no more freedom in 13 unlike the enjoyable side quests that we had in previous series. So us fans have been cheated by enix big time! Get it?

  • @fab4miner so wait now all multiplatform games mean the dev is just doing it for money.....ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME???

  • @jsh020 Did i ever said all multiplatform games? U sure know how to read

  • @fab4miner yes you did say multiplatform, you say it in your first sentence

"A hard fan should know that square enix main purpose on making ff13 a multi platform is for megabucks" right there copy and pasted verbatim,

  • @jsh020 you need to see it cleary i guess, I never say ALL multiplatform, A to the L and to the L = ALL, got it?

  • @fab4miner ok you never said all multiplatform and your point is

you still said one of the most retarted statements ive heard in years of "main purpose on making ff13 a multi platform is for megabucks"

if you seriously think the only reason multiplatform games exist are to get more money then congrats your an idiot

  • @jsh020 see, i never said the ONLY reason. Come on asshole, 'main' does not mean 'only'. Looks like you are the guy who like to spin things around. Admit it, u suck and had no life. You just think what you said is right but with no valid argument. SE is looking for megabucks for making it multiplatform. And that is a fact!! Just, get a life kiddo

  • @fab4miner 3 easy steps to tell that the person your arguing to is losing

    1:slang grammar

2: insult the others ones life despite not knowing a single thing about said person

3:opponent uses the INCREDIBLY original insult of "you have no life"

also since you apparently dont know how buissness works

going multiplatform makes you lose more money not gain, if square was looking for megabucks they would have went exclusive

  • @jsh020 Haha, there he goes. Making his own rules again. Oh, this time there are 3 rules. Mate, why don't you look if any if not all the rules applies to you. Btw, care to explain your last point? Because I'm sure there are someone who wanna know your mind in business. Honestly I don't know how 5.5 million copies sold can make SE loss.

  • @fab4miner You do realise it would have been linear as hell either way, multi-platform or not, right?

  • @elSpaceHeart Nope. It could have been way better if it is exclusive to the platform that can offer more storage. Just imagine, bluray can afford up to 50gb space while even 3 dvds from xbox could not level that. Enix has suffered 20 gb due to multiplatform and everything has been reduced as compared to earlier development stage of ffxiii (graphics wise for example). Then you will ask me, why don't enix make it into 5 dvds? well you should ask microsoft. They capped a maximum of 3 dvds only!!

  • @fab4miner Firstly, the graphics are just as good, if not better, in the game itself than the early trailers. The cutscenes, even the regular gameplay, look gorgeous if you're playing in 720p/1080p. Secondly, if SE wanted it to be linear, they could have made it linear. I do believe they said themselves that the linearity was to put a focus on the story. And finally, the "maximum of 3 dvds only" you mentioned. Why does Lost Odyssey have four discs?

  • @elSpaceHeart Dude, I have been following the development of the game since years before it was released. So I know about the deterioration in the graphics. You can google it. I did play on 1080p so don't misjudge me for playing in on CRT. Yes, 4 discs. But bear in mind the company will have to pay a tax surcharge for every additional disc for that, and for this only reason, you think SE will do that?! Linearity? hmphh. If I were in SE, I would've said that as well. Can't make it, fake it!

  • @elSpaceHeart You should notice that the major sidequests are only opened at the Gran Pulse, which I believe, in 360, you are playing on disc 3. I played on PS3 fyi. Now you should also know why that happened. SE made the sidequests only on final disc so 360 gamers don't have to swap the discs. Had it been the those were made for earlier stage of the game like we have seen in the previous FF series, 360 gamers would have to always swap the disc, which is stupid for so called next gen console!

  • I just got the game today. It's awesome!

  • @ACExellency I wish i could forget the game and discover it again for the first time.

  • honestly, this is something that Western music (especially NOWADAYS) can NEVER able to do, ie: creating such warm, heartfelt song with such beautiful music arrangement & harmonies!

    enough said.

  • @nikiwonoto well they can its just the western market is not trying anymore

  • oh no, japanese music is eargasming my ears.

  • No offense but the international trailer for FF-13 was amazing...Leona Lewis' My Hands was perfect.

  • @HwanTheLight yah i was really surprised how perfectly it fit, i ahet that song but it fit the ending so perfectly

  • GOOSEBUMPS

  • better than My Hands Crap

  • @drtiamat My Hands was also great for the international trailer you know... I personally thought that this FF13 was not that great compared to the FF series I played before but then when I watched the trailer... I feel the emotions and strength of the story... And My Hands also blend with the trailer so the 2 theme songs aren't craps okay?

  • When I went on one of my many talks about how great final fantasy is, my mother asked me to explain what FF was. The best I could say was a series of stories that you'll never forget.

Don't ya think? Everytime I play a final fantasy game (mostly ff10 and any ff7), or hear the music to it, I get this light, airy feeling. It's like being both obscenely sad and happt at the exact same time. It's weird but I love it. On top of that you'll here a song and feel the tears. Then the memories come...

  • @JammersFlood yah it(not to sound cliche) does kinda stick with you, the only FF that doesnt stick to you is X-2

  • @JammersFlood well thx for shit dude what can i write now?? xD i got the exact same feeling of joy and sadness at the same time ^^

  • @JammersFlood so so true I know exactly what you mean!

  • @JammersFlood Thank you~! You have made me realise I'm not the only one that gets that feeling!! I thought I was always weird > <"" I think that's the sign to tell game developers "Yes, you have done extremely well"

  • When I went on one of my many talks about how great final fantasy is, my mother asked me to explain what FF was. The best I could say was a series of stories that you'll never forget.

  • I'm writing the last book of a story series, titled "Atlantis the 2nd" while I listen to this music. It gives such a bittersweet feeling...

  • nice song!

  • How come this song has the same name as the 4th ending of the anime Fairy Tail. I have a song with this exact same name except it's sung by Mikuni Shimokawa. Don't japanese patent the names of their songs so that other people can't use them. In the US this would be considered a lawsuit waiting to happen if you had two songs with the exact same name. Also, there's apparently another song sung by Kylee Saunders with the same name. What's going on?

  • @jbx09ajustice I'm pretty sure you can't copyright names.

  • @BuddyXIII

Not copyright laws but they can be protected under trademark laws.

  • 私はこの曲を愛して!

  • 3 ppl suck balls

  • i am not gonna compare the two ff's but i have my own opinion .... FFX has better story line and FFXIII has better gameplay .. :P ,... I am not saying that the other has bad gameplay and story line ... just saying that each ff's has its own advantages :P

  • @808258 i'd say ffxiii strength was it's narrative, and it's world in general cuz let's face it, it's absolutely stunning, especially on eden and on pulse in chapters 11 and 12....

  • i hope when the English version of Final Fantasy 13-2 will keep the Japanese theme songs. It represents its origin a lot more and its songs are original.

  • this is a best ever song that i heard in my whole life

  • I think "My Hands" and "Kimi Ga Irukara" Fits this song, its so sad! but My hands is sort of a happiness song, but this song is kinda sad if you think of the sound and voice... TT_TT

  • LOOOOOOOVE

  • LOVE.

  • My Hands is miles better!

  • This code progression and this melody are called "stale songs" in japan

    How about you?

  • anyone else notice, how the music in the game is basically instrumental versions of this song, same thing in ffx. i loved suteki da ne... this ones great too.

  • @SSJ4Gogeta687 and same as ff8 too, all of it was just instumental variations of 'eyes on me'...

  • Thanks for uploading!!

  • I'm not going to try and look like some neutral head-nodder. This song is just genuinely better than 'My Hands'.

  • Comment removed

  • Aghhh, I don't know I love the name of the song sooo much :D.

    Ahh.."Because You Are Here"..

  • When I saw that FFXIII-2 was coming out, i was like HOLY SHIT OMG OMG OMG OMG YAYESSSSSSSS. Then I set my desktop wallpaper to a hi-def pic of lightning from the FFXIII-2 trailer xD.

  • I think the English ending had more emotion than the japanese one. Kimi Ga Iru Kara is too happy but My hands is happy with a touch of solemnity. But i sitll like this song too :D

  • Comment removed

  • You guys might hate me, but I don't really like this version. When this song played during the ending the feeling I got wasn't right to me. When I finshed the the english version of the game, and My Hands came on, tears fell. It was the biggest shock of my life, because it fits, you guys are talking about how the song ONLY has to fit the ending, but My Hands fit the whole story to me. "My hands no they dont want to understand, My hands they just shake and try to break whatever peace I may find"

  • Square Enix FTW!!

  • Not taking sides, but I think people probably might have responded better to Leona Lewis if she and square actually collaborated to make an original song for the game (which they had time to do) instead of just randomly picking a song from her latest album and saying it fits.

  • @gundamx20a couldn't agree more...

what the f*** does "put on my make-up" have to do with ffxiii's ending?

but i still like that song

  • @critiqual009 Hmm it could be interpritated as putting on a fake smile. Vanille puts on a lot of make up, if that's the case XD

  • FF13-2 YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • This game was brilliant.

  • I gotta say SquareEnix... the only mistake you made is keep us from hearing this in the western release of the game. An option to choose would be nice next time!

  • I admit the gamplay MAY have not be the best (IMO) but I liked it. The story makes Lord of the Rings jealous. The music....just listen. FFXIII, I give you a solid 9.9 out of 10.

  • @chibirobo99999

"The story makes Lord of the Rings jealous" Wtf man, I also like ff13 but this was stupid.

  • @Aldalar Get over it.

  • Okay, I've decided Final Fantasy XIII could have been one of the best Final Fantasy's. I think it is a good game. I love the gameplay, I just felt the story could have been better, proper town's should have been added and that's about it really. This song and my hands are quality.

  • I dont know why people says "my hands" has nothing to do with ff13 compared to this song. both of these songs deliver a same message but through a different perspective. this song does give you a warm feel that best describes the game, and my hands does give a powerful feel. imo, I prefer this song.

  • Kimi ga Iru Kara > My Hands

    (no Leona Lewis hate here)

  • Leona Lewis sux and her song too. She can put 'my hands' somewhere else than in my ears (!). The japanese version of FF13 is the best ever. I remember when i heard that song in japan, it was everywhere. Why they didnt keep the original japanese song? Like 'Suteki da ne' in FF10...

  • This one is better.

  • these song courage me........cause they are so beautiful that just makes me wanna make a song simuler to these song

  • @usuisou CRY BABY!

  • @warana2 yes i know i am hehe ^^

  • Better song, period!

  • @bassgasmask agreed, sigh stupid my hands.

  • @Dhnetam0rphsis Booooface :<

My Hands is an amazing song!! :D

  • jesus christ people, get over it, its just a theme song.... don't waste your time arguing over the internet!!!

  • it really pisses me off when wannabe fucktards come on here and try to say their a final fantasy fan.........every single person on here that is hatin on leona lewis is a third rate loser with absolutely no respect for female singers. i've met and to this day a good friend with leona and i love my hands and any real final fantasy fan would know that the final fantasy 13 commerical that premered on tv for the release for the game would know that leona lewis is signed with sony

  • @HASEOhack21 if your a real FF fan youd know the first rule about FF games DONT COMPARE THEM.

any FF fan would relize that each FF is a completly different game in story charecters, universes, and gameplay. comparing them is like comparing star ocean 1 to grandia.

  • @jsh020 Nah, its rather like comparing Metal Gear Solid series with Pokemon !

  • @jsh020 THANK YOU. I'm so glad you pointed that out. I hate it when FF's are compared. It's like trying to compare Lemons and Tennis Balls... they only have like, two things in common and that's how it should stay (with both FF and Lemons and Tennis balls X3).

  • @jsh020 So right! I'm tired of hearing "IT NOT FINAL FANTASY VII!!!!!!!!! -RAGEQUIT-." :P

  • @AtomicAdam91

its not about it being ff7. its about it not even being a ff game at all. I played it to the and I seriously thought it was medicore at best. the characters needed more development. Besides lightning and fang and sazh none of the others were impressive (and this is coming from a guy who doesn't hate hope). FF13 was bad....it was just walk down a straight line and hold x. the battles were easy, not to mention completely not fun. the world was pretty but you can only look at it for-

  • @undeadsos5 cont.: a couple of minutes before never seeing it again. gran pulse was boring after 13 or so hours into the game giving us freedom to walk around in an open field hunting monsters is not fun. FF or rather any rpg is defined by a couple of things:

    1. Towns with interaction

    2. World map

    3. a mode of transport.

    4. save the world plot. (or something similar)

    5. side quests to do.

besides no.4, FF13 had none of these.

it was just built to cater to mainstream gamers and not to the fans.

  • @undeadsos5

FF13 had both a mode of transportation (walking, and sometimes chocobo, or juggernaut) and side quests, the L'cie hunts/marks and the Titan's trials
