Hold the shofar AND your head up higher. Place the mouth piece a little to the right of your lips, with a little bit of your top lip in the hole. Place the index & mid. fingers of your left hand over the left part of your mouth. This helps to direct the wind into the shofar. Don't allow your cheeks to balloon out.
