republicans are about as looney as they can get & in the fucking name of god & religion.
1st this is NOT a christian nation, it's a nation of christians. big fucking difference.
2nd, this baffoon wants to write DISCRIMINATIN into the constitution. where is this man's head (besides up his ass).
a big part of this country was founded on the principle of NON-DISCRIMINATION, & this stupid republican like bush wants to change it to suit is fucking religion.
preventing anyone from marrying who they loved and writing it into the constititution bacause of their sexual preference is DISCRIMINATION in my book. i'm sure you disagree, but bet if an amendment was written preventing baptist from marrying, methodists, that
sorry, if an amendment was written preventing papstist from marrying methodists, then you would be up in arms about that kind of discrimination...wouldn't you!
If I were to marry a woman today and drop dead tomorrow, I could legally transfer my entire estate to her without the federal government coming in and taking any part of the estate. But if I settled down in a homosexual relationship for 25 years and then dropped dead, I could only transfer the first $1 million dollars of my estate before the federal government stepped in to take half of the rest of my estate. This is fundamentally unfair and fundamentally un-American!
You deliberately cut this clip at 1 minute instead of providing the entire 2 min. + clip. Fred made it clear he is against same-sex marriage and provides a way with his approach to both stop the advance of gay marriage by prohibiting liberal judges from advancing it, and maintaining the principles of Federalism.
Yes, but what you're missing is that he is saying if a state does it legislatively, then it's ok. He is going more moderate than any other GOP candidate: and this is the GOP savior? It's time for the GOP to admit the gay issue isn't a winner anymore...
I just don't get why people like Thompson. I'm sorry, but he's indolent, inarticulate, immoral, unintelligent, uncommitted, uninformed, and uninspiring. Conservatives unite for Mitt Romney!
Which Mitt would that be? The guy who supported gay marriage and abortion, and was an independent in realtion to Reagan? Or the Mitt of expediency who now is anti abortion, anti gay marriage, and likes to hunt without a license? At least he likes those little varmints, tasty aren't they! Ether way, we get those "mainstream" religious views. Good luck with Mitt!!!
What planet are you from? Are you serious? You think Mitt Romney is better than Thompson? You've gotta be kidding me. He's the only one that knows what he stands for. I'll vote for Romney if it comes down to it against the libs, but I prefer Thompson. A guy you can listen to and know what he's saying.
Ha Ha!

One of many reasons he (and any republican for that matter) is bound to lose the election.

He's definitely not hateful enough. I find that Romney comes off better in that department.

none of the repug candidates are any good, the party as a whole is fully aware of this fact, no matter what anyone on youtube says!
the best & bightest(NOT RELIGIOUS)in that party are waiting for another year.
their dismal record in congress & their current failed presidency is the cause.
again they know they're going to lose this year & are holding back to regrouping for 2010/2012.
they hope america either forgets the mess they've made or the dem pres. is worse than bush.

And this is why we need Mitt Romney to be our President!
