you shouldn't shower AFTER shaving because after shave you gotta rinse with cold water and put moisterizer or aftershave on (i prefer witchhazel) but if you go right back into the hot shower after it wil just open the pores back up again and enflame them, right?

hes black, he doesnt have near a thick offbeards as white people. its only genetic though because blacks dont need much of a beard because they lived in a warm climate. white people from europe adn northern europe have thick beards to protect against the cold

yeh not only that but because of his skin pigments the stubble wont show up nearly as much as it would on like a pale guy...so like itsh ard to tell if he rlly has technique or just yeah...basicly what u said

The more you apply non-scalding heat to your pores prior to shaving, the less likely you are to cut yourself and the better the shave is- old style barbers would steam client's faces in a towel. I highly recommend soaking a towel, squeeze, heat in microwave till steaming, then air out till tolerable- wrap your face below the nose in the towel and leave it one minute or so. GREAT shave, especially if you haven't shaved in a few days.

how do you know how your hair grooves

Play some Sugarhill gang. OR, (If you're being serious.) Run your hands along your face, if it feels smooth that's the direction your hair grows, if you get caught on stubble, it's against the "groove" or grain.

and cold water does the oposite: closes the pores. You can do that when you're done shaveing
