You should not be explaining this to anyone. The AKAs don't own any steps. Get over yourselves. BUT, out of respect for the Divine Nine, learn the history. My Seventh graders did something similar to the steps here and I KNOW they did not steal them from anyone.

As a member this Chi Omega step team, Id like to say that we had an NPHC coach, and that we were told by the NPHC organizations the history of stepping, and how it originated, and also that they were happy to share it with us. They said this ONE WEEK of each year where we do this with their help, that it was like celebrating all together.
Stop hating, there is no ill intentions here. And actually, our coaches and the winning organization received money to go the charity of their choice.
