I've communicated with you before; I really like the BD series! You had mentioned you shoot it using the Sony Pd-170. My question is, do you use the sound from the camera or a boom mic? Because if you use a boom mic, can you tell me what kind of monitor you use to make sure the boom doesn't get in the frame? thanks!
The Sony Pd-170 has a real good mic - it is like a senn. 416 - - very directional. This is the only mic used on "Beachwood Drive" and "Agape". The mike has fluting along the side which cancels out background sound.
