I really hate to say it but it must be said. It is only the Quaids fault that this happened. I was home birthed with a midwife as was my 2 brothers and sister. 80% of the people I hang out with were home birthed and 90-95% of the "new parents" I know either have had their children at home or are consulting with a midwife in preparation for so. There are over 4000 new mid wives trained in the US alone each year. The AMA consistently makes lethal or near lethal mistakes. What else us there to say?

homebirthing is an option but you really should not generalize it. I completely agree that some people are not meant to be doctors or nurses (i should know cuz i fought hard with my parents not to be one) but there are a lot of competent doctors and nurses out there. If you had an appendicitis I'm sure you won't be running to your midwives. It's not the Quaids fault.

They're paying more on Medical care than the average person and its the hospitals responsibility (since they're the ones getting paid) to make sure they get it. The fact that the twins were saved was due to competent doctors and nurses who knew how to resolve the problems created by one psycho nurse's mistake. All hospitals should reevaluate their staff to make sure they keep the competent ones and discard the psychos who only think they can be doctors or nurses.
