i watch lost and everything and i know all about this but i just want to say that there is absolutely no evidence to support that the island won't let Jin die. Unless you have some clip of someone saying "Jin you are special" then this is just a guess.

In the episode Dead is Dead, Ben summoned the monster and John Locke walked out of the jungle. Coincidence? i think not. so that ties impostor john to the monster. and then the fact that impostor john got ben to kill jacob brings his nemesis into the picture, thus tieing his nemesis, Esau, to the smoke monster.

He was not buried. You can still have a tombstone at the cemetery if your body was not found and people think you're dead. I don't think Jin is dead though.

Awh, that's a shame. I think season 4 is the best so far (although many people say it's the worse, both opinions have the same reason: it has more sci-fi/supernatural elements. S4 is the only one that has kept me awake with its mysteries). No one should miss season 5 once it comes up, though.

Daniel Faraday was taking another group of six people to the freighter in the little boat when the freighter exploded.
The only reason Faraday is out their, is to save Jin.
Also when you watch the explosion of the boat, the end where Jin is on, is not completely destroyed.
