@CatiCullen What Doctor Who is about, you mean? Well, it's a bit much to explain. It's about an alien who basically travels the universe in his time/space-machine and occasionnaly picks up humans on the way. Once in a while, when the lead actor wants to do sometting else, give up the role, the writers incorporate regeneration. Basically, the main character gets fatally injured and regenerates, changes the way he looks, the way he acts, so that the showrunners can pick a new actor for the role.

@CatiCullen It's a bit complex when you try to explain it. I would definitely recommend watching it, though. But in a nutshell it is about this time traveling alien named "The Doctor." He goes around saving the day in many different times and places. Along the way he picks up human "companions" now and then. It's really a very clever show. Very funny, often quite moving, always a good moral to the story (for example, the Doctor is almost unflinchingly pacifistic - but still a badass (: ).
