This is one way to get a Shiny Normal, but the problem is that you're using a Twotone White Chao (Bubbles) in this recipe. And there's a chance of you getting a Shiny Twotone White with this same method, and Shiny Twotone Whites look IDENTICAL to Shiny Normals at birth, so you can easily mistake between the two. Using Citrus is good, any Shiny Twotone (except White, as mentioned above) are essential in making Shiny Normals. Breed the Shiny Twotone with a Normal colour Chao has a better chance.

...well from what i have experienced, that chao would not be a shiny normal chao, but a shiny two-tone white or "blitz chao", as you call it, try petting it with a dark character and see if it has the same effect as a "blitz chao" that it will turn dark with white highlights, or if you leave this chao as a normal type, when it evolves, it will be a shiny two-tone white er... i mean "blitz chao"

I think you can breed any two-tone with a shiny to get it, but it's harder. I got it by breeding a shiny white with a regular to get the shiny two-tone white (blitz is what you called it) then breed that with another regular to get the shiny normal. Some people on here think the shiny two-tone white is a shiny normal but there not.

ie: a white monotone mates w/ a normal chao there is a 25% chance that the baby will be a two-toned white chao

The Chao you're seeing is known as a ''blitz'' Chao, to obtain one mate a normal Chao with a white one, if the Chao comes out looking normal colored (just like the standard Chao) it's most likely a blitz and you will notice the color changes as it begins to mature. They look really cool (especially dark!)

I got that Chao through mating Chaggy (a MONOTONE white) with (Chao who is now on a different memory card and forgot the name of) -a normal Chao. (Doesn't matter if it is hero or dark).

I tried this five times to get it right. You won't always get a shiny normal two-tone first time around. Before I got the result I wanted I kept getting either a shiny green, shiny yellow or a two-tone green and yellow Chao instead. Of course, this is all random so keep trying at it. The best way to get a shiny normal (standard l/ Chao) is with mating a monotone shiny with either a blitz or a normal Chao. I only used my shiny yellow two tone because the other Chao wouldn't mate with my blitz.

A blitz Chao is a Chao that was made by breeding any white Chao with a normal Chao. What sometimes happens is that when you breed a white Chao with a normal Chao, the Chao often comes out looking like the normal Chao the white Chao was mated with. Except as it ages as a baby, you'll notice its colors begin to change, for example a dark blitz chao is the same as a normal dark chao except it has light tones to it. As with a neutral blitz it's whiteish with yellow undertones..
