  • You can save all the parts out very easily by doing the following:

Right-click on the cut list in the design tree, select Save Bodies, add appropriate file names manually or select Auto-Assign Names, (Select Copy custom properties to new parts so the BOM is updated), Select Browse on the Create Assembly tab and assign a name for the assembly, press the green check, Window pull-down and select the assembly just made and all your parts will be there assembled and in separate part files.

  • I watched this thinking I would see a weldment get BROKEN DOWN from a part into MANY PARTS in an ASSEMBLY as the title implies. Where do you do this, or did I miss something?

  • @jgore27 agree

  • Thank you so much! This helped me a lot, before I just made separate parts to put in an assembly and then have weld callouts. This definitely speeds up the process!
