  • Quite honestly I think it's the worst looking Harley I've ever seen. I think the original V-Rod looks better.

  • @viggoM35 Thanks for viewing and the feedback. That's why we post to see what people think. Thank you.

  • Beautiful! I just shot a video of one today when I was in town. Nice bike!!!

  • A most excellent example of superior GERMAN engineering LOLOLOLOL!!!!!

  • you should put an HID headlight on that bike it makes it look even better than it already is:), ill own a muscle sometime in the future

  • @rgarcia145 Hi. Thanks for watching & feedback. That would be cool. Good luck & thank you again.

  • The Fatboy and the V-Rod are the only HD I would want. Just my opinion.

  • @BumperTapper2 Hi. Thanks for watching and the feedback. That's why we love posting on YouTube to get your feedback. Thank you.

  • my fav..."l.e.d. lights in the turn signals"... a future classic for "how to speak like a 3yr old when you don't know w.t.f. the actual words are".... beautiful bike, now go to nite school.

  • Get it in denim black...bad ass

  • @hugobear1 Hi. Thanks for watching and the comments. Black denim does look great. Thanks again:)

  • @libertyohio I love mine - best Harley I've had.

  • if i were to get a harley, this will be it.

  • @MrRyyder Hi. Thanks for watching and your feedback.

  • Harley Davidson #1

  • but the sound suckss!!

  • @0180RMS It does need pipes:) Thanks for the feedback.

  • @libertyohio Thanks for viewing and the support:)

  • @0180RMS The fuck cares about the sound? This is the finest piece of engineering I have EVER seen the milwake company produce! They learned alot from their Japanese competitors. Especially with implementing aluminum frame, Dual pin crank, liquid cooling, and Over head cams which offers a far better and more refined ride compared to the other meh mobiles they sell. They need to keep designed shit like this! Screw the posers and biker ganks! make us awesomeness HD!

  • New....WTF!!!

Hpee the same shyt warmed over. Year after year after year..........after year.

Buy metric and step into the 21st centrey.

  • @pissonyou666 Thanks for the feedback.

  • DOBRA MASINA

  • ohhhh wow thats a nice ride, i just got my ducati hypermotard for my 17th bday, how much was that beast tho i would trade in my bike for that beauty!

  • @funnyamericans93 Thanks for your feedback. Ducati's are great, too. Be careful.

    Thanks again.

  • @funnyamericans93 Awesome. Thanks for the feedback. Enjoy the Ducati:)

  • huuuhhhh.....ugly thong

  • 120 hp is not much for a sport bike. The ZX14 has 190 hp.

  • Did he say 120 horsepuddle? Sweet!

  • @mbrady00 Hi. Thank you for viewing and comments. Yes, 120 h.p.! Have a great day.

  • very muscle bike thanks :)

  • best harley ever

  • @sierracossie1 Hi. Thank you for watching and your feedback. It is definitely the boldest V-Rod yet. Thanks again.

  • Very pretty bike

  • @TingTongMike Thanks for viewing and the great feedback.

  • like the side mount plate , different from the side, here you can side mount but need plate visable from the rear posistion , first time rider bike , not to sound negative but i think not.

  • @Pra1s3 Thanks for watching and the feedback.

  • is it for sale? how much?

  • Good Morning. Thanks for viewing. We don't any 09 Muscles in stock. 2010s start at $17,199 plus options (color, ABS brakes, security) and freight. Thanks again for your feedback. Please let us know if you have any further questions or comments.

  • For a begining Harley rider I would suggest a softail model. Very easy to handle, almost anybody could ride. Very stable. Very comfortable and plenty of Harley power and style. All around sweet machine for anyone, beginner or experienced.

  • noooooooooo this would not be a good bike for a brand new rider. way to much horsepower. if you want a Harley and can afford one i would NOT suggest a Sportster either. A Dyna or Softail would be the best starter bike if you really want a Harley

  • Why not a Sportster? do you include the 883 in the "not recommended for new rider" ?

  • a dyna or a softail??? 1600cc for a new rider?!?!?

  • Its best to learn on a smaller bike, I learned in an sportster custom, and sure, I droped it in five seconds.... but, if you are careful and learn the basics, a sportster its fine.

  • Would u recommend this bike for new riders?

  • Hello. Thank you for watching and your question. New as in ridden before or new as in never-ridden. It's a lot of power for a total newbie. Once you know how to ride, it would be fine for you, but not to learn on.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you.

  • Bonita pero le falta

  • why doe that back tire look small, maybe if you lower the shocks it will look better fit!

  • Congrats ... I just got my new red one two weeks ago. Great, great motorcycle. I'm a geezer, but when the Muscle came out, I knew my 2006 Suzuki C90 had to go ... 100 pounds lighter, almost double the HP .... what's not to like?

Ride Safe ... Mike from Thomasville GA

  • Haha, what do you consider 'being a geezer'? ;)

  • Good Morning. Thank you for the kind words and congratulations. You'll love the bike. It has a great look. Ride safe and enjoy.

  • Thanx for posting the video! I live in South Korea and just ordered the exact same model you have there. 09 V-Rod Muscle and it arrives next month. I personally like the design over the classic HD models. I can't wait to try it out!

  • I proud work for Harley-Davidson

  • Sweet ride!

  • Thank you for watching and your comments.

  • amazing bike

  • Thank you for watching and your comments.

  • whats the 0-60mph

  • Good Morning, CovGuk: Thank you for watching and your question. We don't get performance stats like that frequently, and I couldn't find any online. I do see the top-speed is 135. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Thank you again for watching and your feedback.

    Sincerely,

    Liberty Harley-Davidson

  • I owned the original Vrod and it needed some work. This is a real pleasure to drive, one of my favorite motorcycles.

  • Hi, Majoratt12de. Thank you for watching and your feedback. This is the kind of comments we love to hear. I'm glad you are impressed with the Muscle. We just got our first 2010 in. We still have a 2009 VRSCDX in stock.

Thanks again for stopping by and commenting.

  • hey my question is what should i get a night rod special or a v rod muscle what is your oppion

  • Hi, Bardockfan2213:

That's a tough question. They both fit differently. The Night Rod is lower with forward controls, the Muscle has a higher position. If you are tall, the Muscle would probably feel better, because you feel cramped on the Night Rod.

Sorry to be so vague. I like the Muscle, it looks very cool (we just got a 2010 in yesterday).

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

  • okay thanks dude since im a bit shorter then most i'll try the night rod thanks

  • no you were right the first time, it has 120 horsepoddle.

    :)

  • I am thinking about getting one. Does anybody think that in two years if I want to sell it, how much money will I lose.

  • This is my obsecsion. Iam going to find the way to get one.

  • Hi, Spoke57:

Thank you for watching and your comments.

    We appreciate your enthusiasm:)

I hope you do get one. You'll love it.

    Thanks again for your feedback.

  • I like the V-rod Night special more. This looks robotic and bad ass!

  • Hi. Thanks for watching and your comments. I love the Night Rod special. It sits better for me (short), and looks awesome.

    Thanks again for your feedback.

  • If you are looking for the cheapest bike possible there are some chinese plastic bikes for only a 2k new.

But they will never be a vrod

  • Hi. Thanks for watching and the comments. We've had a couple of those types in trade--Zengshen was one--they are definitely affordable.

    Thanks again.

  • Yamaha raider is better, faster and costs much less!!1 HA

  • Hi. Thanks for watching and your comments. Definitely less money. Thanks for watching and your comments. That's why we post, to hear what people think.

    Have a great day.

  • that bike is an absolute beuty.... . IM going to ditch my racing bike and get me one of these bad boys

  • Hello. Thanks for watching and your comments. It is a very unique bike. I think you'll love it.

Thanks again for the kind words.

  • Hello!

    Can you take a passanger???

Is a graet bike to share with friends!

    ciao!

  • Hello. Thank you for watching and your comments. Yes, you can ride a passenger. Glad you like it.

    Thanks again for stopping by.

  • One of the best bikes I ever had. But it's so hard trying to clean those aluminum mufflers, and once you put the saddlebags on, there's no way to adjust the suspensions, other than that this baby is perfect.

  • Hi HD Muscle:

Glad you love it. I think it looks great, too. We had a customer buy a red one and chrome the rims, but I never got to see it before he took it. H-D definitely has to think "outside the box" and I love all the feedback (pro and con) from YouTubers.

    Enjoy yours and be safe.

    Thanks again.

  • Thanks for watching and your comments. I have learned my less that I have to rev up the bikes during presentations. I'm glad the video was useful to you. Thanks again for your comments and great suggestion.

    Cheers,

    Liberty Harley-Davidson

  • rev the bloody thing brother , that's what we people want to hear, usefull information though

  • not to be negative like nice bike but i dont like the look it doesnt look harley though

  • Hi. Thank you for watching and your comments. You're right, I need to rev it up more. I'm usually holding the camera, so hitting the throttle is a little tricky.

  • Hit the throttle will ya!!!! I wanna hear some of that 120 horse poddle!!!!!

  • Hi. Thank you for watching and your comments. The muscle is definitely getting a lot of comments such as yours, especially the use of plastic body parts. I think I tapped the brakes during filming.

    Thanks again.

  • I have an original VRod (2002). I have to say, the Muscle is growing on me, but I have a few beefs. I wish they hadn't used plastic for the bodywork and a few of the design lines are a little harsh. Other than that, it's pretty sweet!

Why was the ABS light flashing?

  • Thank you for watching and your comments.

I agree about the sound. It seems that bikes with longer and larger pipes sound similar. Thanks again for watching.

    Liberty H-D

  • sounding like a Ducati already. i think v-twins sound great! i like your bike!

  • nice bike,, but i almost fell asleep with the narrator.. sooooo booooo riiiiiii ngggggggg.

  • nice liberty ohio

  • alá que peaso de amoto, io kero una pa´ q mi xorvo me yeve de juerga por aí pa fardá de pepino.

¿me puede decir alguien que coño lleva el pavo colgao del manillar?

  • From a sportbike rider - vrods are an appealing choice for the cruiser genre

  • I have a paddling pool of drool arround me at the moment lol :P

im buying my first Harley next year and i cant bloody wait, dont know which to get The VRSC V-ROD Muscle or The Dyna Fat Bob. Both look stunning :)

  • I just got the 2009 fat bob. It is a sweet ride & handles really well!

  • Can someone please explain to me the point of inverted forks?

  • Better stability

  • I love how this motorcycle has 120hp and my first car had 85hp, my car in Germany is a diesel and has 120hp only in the high RPMs with the teeny tiny turbo, and my car in the U.S. has 150hp. It's just embarrassing to me... haha!

  • duno y your mocking harleys you probrably work in a grocery store and get rides to work with ur mum right try riding a harley

  • For a good aftermarket exhaust, I recommend a D&D. It gives it that signature harley rumble at idle, but sounds like a drag bike at higher rpms.

  • Great bike, bought a 09 Night Rod myself. Was hesitant to trade my old Honda V65, but it was gettin up there on mileage. First time you ride it, you may forget you're on a Harley. It's a smooth comfortable ride, and It's pretty snappy off the line for a big bike. It takes some gettin used to in the turns with a lower center of gravity compared to most harleys I've rode, but overall its a blast and it turns heads everywhere I ride.

  • they waist alot of gas for a bike

  • Perhaps custom paint of a screamin eagle design? Or decals like the night rod. The bike looks better in lighter paint, but all those hours of designed shape is lost when its in black/deep red etc..

  • Seen one at my local dealers, and I aint too keen on it in the metal. I have a VRSCX and thats far more custom than this. This was designed to attract more of the Jap riders. Vrods are for people who like power/speed and dont want the same old churned out customs/choppers but still want to stay loyal/want a Harley.

    Like me!

  • The Night rod special looks way better. The only thing that makes that bike is the front and rear fender and wheels. The dual pipes on that beast are like gigantic potato launchers, they shoulda just went a foot longer and made em a wheelie bar.

  • I think the pipes look great.

  • yeah i dont really the sound.....its still not loud enough......but im a hd lover....

  • Hi Joncingular:

Thank you very much for watching and your comments.

  • damn, it IS TOO HOT!!!

  • amazing bike.

but which its better the hammer by victory or this one? ill buy one of these very soon.

    vs

  • the harley is the better bike but victory is designed by Arlen Ness

  • What is the mileage on these and what is the cruising range?

  • Thank you for your question and watching our video. The fuel capacity is 5.0 gallons and the m.p.g. is 42 hwy and 34 city. Please let us know if you have any further questions and thank you again for watching. Liberty Harley-Davidson.

  • Thanks for watching and the comments. I love the Nightrod, too. Enjoy and ride safe. Thanks again for watching. Liberty Harley-Davidson.

  • I think it's a masterpiece, I just love it. Always liked v-rods but found both chunky exhausts to close to the ground when you lean the bike to your right. This is a far beter design and it's stunning. Can you tell me the price?

    Best regards

  • Hello.

Thank you for your comments regarding the V-Rod Muscle. They start at $17,199 plus freight and options. Please let us know if you have any further comments or questions.

  • l,

Is there any way you can mount up a camera, take this HOG for a spin, and upload the video?

  • Hi I:

Thank you for watching and your comments. Great idea.

    Thanks again for your comments.

  • one of the best vrods i have ever seen, one very awesome motorcycle with a little german influence involved all it needs is some louder pipes.

  • Morning mate.

Being a bloke, it may grow on me? The first one did. Perhaps a nice custom paint job, when the extra's start being produced perhaps it will start rocking? a bit more. I like the dials. Looked at one at a bike show, NEC Birmingham. Went in freezing -1 weather, it nearly froze my tits off, miss-fired alot, I think the Vance pipe & fuel pack dont help. I've a 1250 ltd edition screamin Eagle No.1171.out of 1400

Would you say its better, in anyway, than the old models?

    Cheers.

  • Ugly rear, and the fronts not too pretty. I have an 07 rod and thats a bit ugly up front, but I do love a good rear end to look at and a nice set of clocks too! LOL.

So I will be keeping mine a bit longer.

Beauty is in they of the beholder.

  • Hell, we can read the brochure also. You sound as if you built the scooter yourself as a one off custom model. All you're doing is making the payments (I doubt you paid cash)Let's see you pull the front end up off the ground, smoke the tires or run it through some twisties....

  • That bike is absolutely awesome. I don't know when Im going to be able to buy one..but hopefully its going to be soon. Its amazing. I love the lean look it has....I love the sound and I love the style. I wouldnt ever have thought about looking at a Harley before.

  • Dear R3DTAIL:

Thank you very much for watching and your comments.

I'm glad you like this new model. H-D keeps trying different V-Rods, and hopefully this one will be popular. We just got a red one, and it looks great, maybe better.

Thanks again for watching and your comments.

  • the long exhusted look ugliy i dont no wot bout any 1 else but they r hidious 2 me

  • What's awesome is that as a definitive motorcycle enthusiate who grew up on sportbikes like Suzuki GSXR'S, Ducati's and my current Bimota to read various members post crap about a Harley(I thought they were real bikes, I least I was told that) new model which looks good but is crap because it doesn't adhere to their v-twin, air-cooled Magog from the land of chrome. Hey style authority! Without new customers who want newer, read diffrent bikes, you have few miles-years left for it to matter.VRRRR

  • sorry I was a bit rude, but yes its a funny bike, but then im sure many people will love it. Maybe its time people get over the HD nostalgia thing and move on..

  • a proper Harley Juppy bike, sounds like a Honda 50cc moped on its last legs. A vrod with a poka dot dress.. agoose without feathers.. a dog without a tail

  • me desculpa as palavras....mas....puta que paril.....isso é que é uma moto.....linda....linda....linda...parabéns.....aproveite....abç

  • Nice looking bike but they are in for a rough ride considering the Suzuki M109R and the yamaha VMax cost less and have more horsepower.

  • M109 is much cheaper, and what i drive, Vmax will be similar in price but in a league of it's own in performance. I have still yet to have a drag with a v-rod. Suzuki makes more power but is also a much bigger heavier bike.

  • hehehe...well...i can admit that Vmax is stronger but it's a v4 engine with v-boost...

but the suzuki ugly cruiser is nothing compared with any vrsc or any vmax...

  • I'd beg to differ, when i first when cruiser shoppin i wanted a vrod. Frankly their uncomfortable and too small for me. I'm sure there alot of fun to drive so i went with the M. Personally i'd like to own one of each.

  • v rod is uncomfortable and small?!...

    are you sure?!

  • Have you even ever seen a motorcycle?

  • I own three.

  • Thank you for watching and your comments. I'll try to be more emphatic in the future videos. Sorry I disappointed.

    Thanks again.

  • Great looking bike. Liberty HD might allow themselves to get just a bit excited about it. I thought that my local matteress salesman had moved on to bike sales! C'mon, just a little 'woo-hoo' its the American way ;0)

  • awesome looking bike, now all it needs is some loud pipes and me as the owner.

  • Good Morning.

Thank you for watching and your comments.

Your right: every H-D needs louder pipes:)

We have at least three V-Rods in stock, now. We'd love to see you as an owner.

Have you seen the new video H-D did with a supermodel? It's on their channel.

    Thanks again!

  • Too uncomfortable and small for my big a**

  • Good Morning.

Thank you for watching and your comments.

The V-Rod definitely isn't for everyone. However, we do have plenty of bikes that you find comfortable.

    Thanks again.

  • Hi.

Thanks for the comments. We love Ducati's, too.

    You're absolutely right.

    Thanks again.

  • Still 60 hp shorter than a Ducati though....

  • can you tell me if any muscle made it to Canadian dealerships, and how's the rear seat comfort. thanks for the video.

  • I've seen 2 vrod muscles in canadian dealers, both in winnipeg though.

  • We have them now in Ottawa, one in HD of Ottawa and the otherone is in Freedom HD. and it's really the most beautiful peice of machinery I've ever come across. but how's the durability of the aluminum casting compared to brushed steel and chrome.

  • Thank you for the comments. I really like the Night Rod. We are anxious to see how the public responds. Enjoy yours. Ride safe. Thank you again.

  • Just went and saw one of these for the first time today at the shop- very nice bike. I've got an '08 Night Rod Special, so it was interesting to see the differences. Love the new ram air scoops, gauge cluster, shorter front fender and integrated turn signals. Not 100% sure about the back end, but am sure it will grow on me. Also, shorter peg position than the NRS, so it is good for shorter riders. I'm sure you will love the motor! Overall- love it...enjoy!

  • Thank you for the comments. We love this bike, too. I can't wait to see the other colors.

Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you.

    Liberty Harley-Davidson 330.535.9900/800.284.4275
