2 times i got over 1000 bells. once i go 1068. then exactly 8 weeks later. (same day as before which was a thursday) it was 1198 bells!!! I was only able to take one 100 turnips at one time. I had about 4,500 turnips. then another 8 weeks later it was about 500 or so...

The best part is when you get a "spike" on the Monday after buying turnips. It's happened two times to me, and the second time I needed to take bells out of my pocket to even fit it all!

@TheSeamusAC: You will occasionally get them from the animals in your town or sent to you from "Mom." If you have another town on another memory card, you can also take the train to the other town and pick some fruit.

In my WW file, if I don't sell my turnips before the week is up, I get bad prices until I sell them. Then I get better prices the following week! :)

I've gotta take risks when it comes to the stalk market.

No, I don't believe City Folk has the requirement of another player. It's just spending money and waiting so many days. I don't know the amount you have to spend, you may need to look that one up.

Mastermiindd: It's a play on words. Instead of buying and selling stocks, you're buying and selling turnips. So they refer to it as the "stalk" market.

To fix the red turnip problem, you need to set your AC:CF's clock to at least 1 minute ahead of the time on your Wii. Don't ask me why, but I had the same problem. After looking it up and setting the game's clock forward, I am now able to buy red turnips.

Plant red turnips and water them every day for one whole week. Then dig it up again and sell it for 16,000 bells. :D.
