So, relationship breaks can lead to a better communication. But IMO communication itself can be the problem.

You should learn to accept some quirks of your partner, instead of bringing every tiniest thing to discussion - it can ruin the relationship. (it seems that men are better at putting up with stuff, but that might be a cliche)

Think it over if it really bugs you so much that a change is necessary. After all relationships mean compromises, although a lot of people seem to forget that.
