My parents ordered the ppv's for us. Dad took us to shows all the time. Saw the birth of DX live in 97'. Wore shirts to school etc.I tell ya, sounds gay but this shit really puts a lump in my throat. I'm sorry for you kids who weren't old enough to witness the days of WWF and WCW. You were robbed. I'm grateful.

This video brought tears to my eyes. The WWF was fucking phenomenal. The year that stands out to me most is 2001 (since that's really when I was paying full attention to the WWF even though I watched it every week since 97, 98). 2001 will always be my favorite year of the WWF.
When it comes to the WWE era, 2002 is my favorite by far. Phenomenal stuff.

WWE, esp. under Vince's leadership in the past 6 years or so, has REALLY gone downhill. I fear there will NEVER be another Attitude or Kayfabe Era (or anything nearly as great)! We've already seen the best of WWE, and the glory years are probably over, I'm afraid. :( Seriously, Kofi Kingston, John Morrison, Miz, Sheamus, MVP, McIntyre, Swagger, Randy Orton, Batista, etc. just can't hold a CANDLE to the old legends.
I remember seeing this for the first time in late 2002 an loving it and here I am now 9 years later seeing it again and loving it even more. As back and forth as WWE gets with their product there's just something that will always keep me attracted to it. I sure don't feel the same way about wrestling as I did back then but it's just something I'll love an have a passion for till the day I die. For better or worse I am a fan of professional wrestling.

I just want some great stories told. That's all. What made the Attitude Era were the STORIES and the CHARACTERS. Everything was just phenomenal. It's not impossible for WWE to create great new stories but they have to focus.

Now not every Attitude angle was great. For every Austin-McMahon confortation, you had about three Beaver Cleavages or Woman in Her 70s Gives Birth to a Hand. But something worth talking about happened EVERY WEEK. And Austin-McMahon was just molten hot.

I used to watch it back in the day of The Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan. In my honest opinion they were some of the best times for the WWF/WWE. I've watched it a few times since then but nothing has come close - script, acting or otherwise. I was even around when Andre the giant went toe to toe with the Hulk, the best days imo.

I'm guessing you haven't watched the WWE this year. From 06-08 There were 2 storylines going on at the same time. World title and WWE title matches. Those were the only storylines for 3 years. At least midcarders now get feuds (Such as Miz/DBD and Dolph/Kofi). 2003 was a shitty year as well, a year of HHH's shit on Raw made Raw extremely bad that year.

U had Austin, Rock, HHH, Foley, Kane, Taker, Hardys, EC, Dudley, Y2J, Kurt, Rikishi, Too Cool, DLo, Godfather, Debra, DX, Corporation, Val so many great characters and great storylines PG and TV14. Plus u had great CROWDS who showed alot of emotions. Thats whats missing.

WWE, esp. under Vince's leadership in the past 6 years or so, has REALLY gone downhill. I fear there will NEVER be another Attitude or Kayfabe Era (or anything nearly as great)! We've already seen the best of WWE, and the glory years are probably over, I'm afraid. :( Seriously, Kofi Kingston, John Morrison, Miz, Sheamus, MVP, McIntyre, Swagger, Randy Orton, Batista, etc. just can't hold a CANDLE to the old legends.

I remember seeing this for the first time in late 2002 an loving it and here I am now 9 years later seeing it again and loving it even more. As back and forth as WWE gets with their product there's just something that will always keep me attracted to it. I sure don't feel the same way about wrestling as I did back then but it's just something I'll love an have a passion for till the day I die. For better or worse I am a fan of professional wrestling.

I just want some great stories told. That's all. What made the Attitude Era were the STORIES and the CHARACTERS. Everything was just phenomenal. It's not impossible for WWE to create great new stories but they have to focus.

as much as I loved the wwf attitude era.....................wrestling entertainment will never b the same again. Vince McMahon u better come up wit something big other than trying to pull guys back for the temporary(mike tyson, bret hart, ect). Gradually the real WWF fans aka WWE fans r fading away because it's bullshit now. I have turned my interests over to MMA now with much more better action and stories, feuds, ect.

Now not every Attitude angle was great. For every Austin-McMahon confortation, you had about three Beaver Cleavages or Woman in Her 70s Gives Birth to a Hand. But something worth talking about happened EVERY WEEK. And Austin-McMahon was just molten hot.

I used to watch it back in the day of The Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan. In my honest opinion they were some of the best times for the WWF/WWE. I've watched it a few times since then but nothing has come close - script, acting or otherwise. I was even around when Andre the giant went toe to toe with the Hulk, the best days imo.

I'm guessing you haven't watched the WWE this year. From 06-08 There were 2 storylines going on at the same time. World title and WWE title matches. Those were the only storylines for 3 years. At least midcarders now get feuds (Such as Miz/DBD and Dolph/Kofi). 2003 was a shitty year as well, a year of HHH's shit on Raw made Raw extremely bad that year.
