  • @DivineScheme ahahahah + xD

  • holy shit i live in connecticut....

  • same

  • after watching this video and reading the different suggestions on what type of spider you found, i went to wikipedia and researched it and it most definitely a dock/fishing spider

  • that isn't a wolf spider, the wolf spider is more brown and i think smaller...

  • Wolf spider? Not too sure

  • well of course its not a brown recluse because recluse are of course...reclusive and dont rly come out in the sunlight...could perhaps be a wolf spider...but its not as vicious as the one i got attacked by rofl...could be just a regular house spider...those ones eat the poisonous spiders...

  • this aint no normal house spider ppl so i dont no why every1 sayin they got them in there house this is scary man... deffo poisionis

  • I get these all the time on the side of my dock in main. It could have been a water spider because then can and have gotten that big.

  • Wow---I've found these in my basement and shed ALOT_--what the heck is it?

  • booooooooooooooaaaaaaaaa wie eglig aber ist die auch echt

  • That's a Dock spider, the first one I saw, I thought it was a tarantula.

  • Looks like a Nursery Web Spider.

  • this spider is a nursery web spider. they're kinda similar to wolf spiders. there's many different types of these things i seen one at my work today and it's just as big with the same markings.

  • We call them dock spiders where I live. They live around lakes and stuff, and I've seen some the size of a dinner plate. They're not aggressive though, so as long as you don't aggravate it...

  • What happens if you aggravate them? Do they eat you?

  • No, but they do bite. And it hurts pretty bad.

  • holly crap! I just saw one like not even ten seconds ago out by the river. I actually ran inside that instant to find out what it was.

Annnnnnnnd there was another one with it. it was a little bit smaller and brown with light brown hairs all over its body.

I remeber just standing in shock looking at this monster of a freakin spider.

Im not scared of spiders but Im getting that aftershock where I jump around every minute or so cause I feel like something is crawling on me.

  • this is a unidenified spider they are related to wolf spiders are not poisinous andlive all around me here in colorado

  • We saw one like that her In Rhode Island, I was on a floating dock. How it got out there... IDK but we tossed a boulder on it and it EXPLODED! It was awesome

  • This is a beautiful example of a Dock or Fishing Spider.Commonly found near water ofcourse. Not venomous, but, like any animal, may bite if provoked.I have one here I caught in my house, sitting in a jar.She is about 4 inches in width.I am setting her free near the river, which runs nearmy home.i live in Queens county,Nova Scotia,Canada.

  • Kill it with a shovel.

  • Wolf spider. I'm having a hard time narrowing down the exact species, though.

  • what did you do with it? can i have it ????

  • Comment removed

  • That's a big ass mother fucker. That's what it is.

  • Pretty sure it's already been answered, but I'm too lazy to go hunting...just in case it hasn't been, that's a dock spider. They're WAY creepier than tarantulas in my opinion, at least the latter are fuzzy.
