I certainly share your thoughts about Christians even though I love Jesus. Like people acting holy on sunday etc. etc. I've also been to a few different churches some amazing and some very BORING. I believe there is no point in forcing people off paths. If you choose Wicca then that's your choice. Parents may give advice, but forcing people will usually give the opposite results.
Also to why I'm a Christian is because I want to help people and I did what the bible said and it helps me a lot. What I do it for is to stop people for example from commiting suicide and try to restore their lifes. And not shoving the law/bible on people's throats. It made me a much better person, I used to be addicted to video games. I played them like 30-60 hours a week, just couldn't stop always had to play play play. I'm sure Jesus helped me get myself together.
