Very nice reproduction. At least this company paid attention to the aresenal markings, the Japanese characters that translate into "Type 99", and the emperors seal of approval.

Tanaka only manufactures very small quantities of this rifle...the real Arisaka was made in millions. Tanaka pays attention to the quality and detail and with such a hiqh quality wood furniture the price goes up significantly. :-(

I have a real one, they are rare today, many are in America, only a few are here in Japan, most were destroyed after the war, Gramps hid his rife, deep in a basement he dug before the Occupation
