@Andy9742 - let me give you something to think about - World War 2 Japan was planning to attack Peral Harbour and at the same time wanted to attack Australia to wipe out and work their way back to Japan. There adviser told them that there was more guns per capita and they know how to use them! Japan scrapped that idea and attacked Phillipines instead. Imagine Gun Control in 1941?
@Andy9742 Regardless if someone or others in that cafe had a concealed weapon on them, they would not off even had time to reach for it. They all had a 3rd eye before people could react. It was that quick in that cafe, that the first shell that ejected from the rifle port would of been still warm, when the last person was killed....
@mr1000rx We lived in a different time prior to that day. When there has never been an issue ever prior to that day, why would police or armed security patrol the place. We don't live in America.
If normal citizens were able to carry guns in public just like the USA, Port Author Massacre may of never happened, because as soon as Martin Bryant started firing one of the people inside of the cafe would have defend themselves and ended it before he could of killed more people. But it's Australia, and our dumb-ass government think the tighter the guns laws are the less gun related incidents.
