Looked all over the place in search of this particular song after watching Enter The Void. Thankfully wiki helped me find out. Now here I am listening n daydreaming.
@dbbubba I don't think that Wendy Carlos ever mentioned Delia as an influence, Carlos was doing a LOT of Music Concrete at the same time that Delia was in the early 60s, but BBC-related music wasn't released in the US. Even now, you have to buy any BBC cd from England.
This is from johan sebastian Bach.

The plucked string sounds are notably similar to Goon Gumpas by Aphex Twin. I'm willing to bet it's directly inspired by this.

ENTER THE VOID!!!! SUCH AN AWESOME TUNE.

Well, I guess we know what influenced Walter Carlos because this is ridiculously close to his Moog version on Switched on Bach
Delia did this with bits of tape and not by playing keys on a synthisizer.
Mind blowing!
