I dunno, something about this HD remix just aint cutting it. The artwork and music for the most part is balls (Capcom tried to make it more like 3rd strike and failed miserably), and good lord, Akuma seems more broken than Noob Saibot from Mortal Kombat Trilogy (Ironically, the character that inspired Akuma's creation).

I'm getting it anyway, but I can see the community abusing the living daylights out of the physics.

Akuma's original concept of anonymity was quite clearly a fusion of Reptile and Noob Saibot when they first appeared in MK1 and 2 respectively, both of which were made before SSF2T.

I've got nothing against Akuma's character by any means, I'm just giving the Street Fighter fanboys who accuse Mortal Kombat of copying everything from the SF2 series a taste of their own medicine.

It's debatable whether Akuma is still broken in HD Remix, he can't be stunned at all, and ST wasn't really built around air fireballs.

That said, 3s Akuma and beyond are all a little under-powered, and are socially more acceptable than this incarnation. He'll probably be my main in SFIV.
