Yes, with iMovie '09 you can use a green screen. So if you first film yourself in front of a 'normal' background and then in front of a green screen, you can use those two layers for the clone.
Yeah it's iMovie 06'. I actually like this version the best out of all the versions of the program. For one it still has the old effects which Apple for some stupid reason decided to deprive us all of in the later version.. The other reason I don't use 08.. is that this slow machine won't even run it. :) yeah I need new equipment.. bad. I know
If this works I will sub the hell out to you!!!

Your version of imovie is older than mine (I assume),it looks more like the one I had in my old imac. :)
I need to learn how to use my Final Cut that I got with this thing (that I bought last March?). :O

When I got this it took me a little bit to figure out that they separated the word effects out from imovie into a program called LiveType.
Yea, my old machine didn't have enough capacity to even put a background to my first video (Five Facts).
I do really like this new one, though they aren't cheap. :)

could you give us a imoviehd tutorial:
how do we change audio levels, without using the noise reducer function in the editing tab.
as doing it that way makes the audio sound as if its underwater.

I've already done a video on this called "attempted iMovie audio tutorial". You'll find it in the archives on my profile page. Hope it helps.

It's iMovie 06. 08 is a bit different but the basic functions remain the same version to version.
