  • lol! true. the acceleration sucks. the fastest coaster ive ever been on but the slowest acceleration.0-100 in 7.5 secs :( Xcelerator is so much better. 0-82 in 2.3 secs :D

  • They were originally closing because the company is trying to focus on "family friendly" theme parks. This park was costing the company a lot of money to run and they don't particularly like the crime going on. They realized they had vested a lot of money and decided last minute not to sell.

    I worked at Six Flags in the bay area. They just "rethemed" this park to be more "family friendly." It's like a zoo mixed with Magic Mountain. Odd, but it works well. Magic Mountain is still awesome though!

  • I don't really know... I just heard this from various people. Though... when I went their site, it didn't say a thing about them shutting down. What i heard from my friends was that they were shutting down because the area is full of crime. But, again, I'm not entirely sure of the details. Sorry...

  • they're just selling this ride, they're not going to sell the park. Although it kinda sucks that they're getting rid of this ride 'cause it really kicks some serious ass I think that it's the best non-looping coaster they have to offer.

  • a while ago they filed bankruptcy, but someone bought the park, so they're not closing XD (i just got back from magic mountain today and rhode this 2 times and did the penny at the right time! XD)

  • The best thing to do on that ride is when you get to the top (or the highest point you can go), have all your friends/family/whatever throw an object and see if you can hit Superman. Fun stuff.
