  • God I love this song.

  • The best Eddie song, in my opinion. My fave.

  • Money Is The Man!! Soooo UNDERATED! SHould be in the hall and Fame! ~J

  • yep hard to believe a one time new york cop could do so well, fell in love with my first love to this song, thanks Eddie

  • I believe this song has some of the greatest dual lead in the bridge. Does anyone know the chords I'm getting a c f

  • @cabokid59 -- if I recall, the chords are C, Cmaj7, then F. A lot of the finesse notes come from the keyboard, but you can hammer around on the F to get the exact sound on the album, particularly if you're running a little flange or phase into the mix.

Totally agree on the dual lead, by the way. I can't think of a song out there that tops it.

  • thats funny,,,,the money army...cool

  • this was one of the first 8 track albums I bought as a teen with my first car. I listened to it quite often and remember the time with great affection. The car was a 1969 dodge dart (2door), lite green with mag wheels and a black vinyl interior...the sounds of eddie money and foriegner spewed from it like smoke wherever I went...ahhh good times!!!

  • This first album has so many memories for me. Ive turned many people on to it lately, New people dig it too.

  • thanks!!!!!!!!!! could you post the whole lp? this wae the fifst lp i bought as a kid more good songs also on lp

  • @whowweeemandude40 Two big thumbs up!!!!!

"You've Really got A Hold On Me," "Jealousys," "Got To Get Another Girl," "Gamblin Man," and, Don't Worry," go so much deeper than 'two tickets,' and 'Baby Hold On,' with all due respect.

    so bold.

    Peace.

    Rock
