  • I am an illustrator now. I always loved to draw the charackters and the whole items from the books and comics :) I started with a link to the past. Through the years I drew from several zelda games and got better and better. I started playing with a link to the past. and today one of my very first zelda drawings hangs in my room :) (a collection of items of a link to the past :) I am so happy zelda exists :)

  • Most Beautifil Town and theme from Legend of Zelda.

  • thank you.

  • this made me cry, so many good memories

  • Love this theme :) Does anyone know of another of this theme that's on the net? It starts off very sort of lullaby-ish & it's got a sort clarinet-ish sleepy feel to it, like something to a baby...I think the track was on the ganon's tower website before it dissapeared....can anyone help me? If yes can someone post the video or the link. Thanks

  • I will never forget, what Shigeru Miyamoto and his team did for me during my childhood. It's on the same level as the fairytales of the Brothers Grimm for me. It brought so much peace and harmony in my heart, words could not describe it. The most beautiful video game ever created in this universe.

  • you know, I don't think that the graphics have aged that badly, they DO have a sort of charm to them.

although, the textures could use some help. it kinda takes me out of the game when the floor is detailed and wall is an incomprehensible smudge.

  • beautiful rendition. But yea, I kinda want to hear the original w/ chickens squawking.

  • I used to sit for hours in Kakariko Village and listen to the music.

  • Jesus Christ I'm starting to tear up...so beautiful.

  • Chickens. Cute when young, delicious when fried

  • *sigh* now i want a pet chiken

  • Just beautiful, but I miss the harmonica. I think it perfectly encapsulated Kakariko Village itself.

  • ahh the good old days..

  • Beautiful game,Beatiful Music,Beautiful History......Only one problem......Cuccos

  • one word.....Hermoso

  • I love this song I have the CD and it is amazing I listen to this when I am sleeping

  • If I ever get married I want this song to play at my wedding for some reason the wedding march song sucks but this song is awesome =)

  • @MrPotatoSack177 I have a friend who IS getting married to this song.

  • @Brianzilla2004 Cool. When I get married to my dream girl I'm definitely playing this song at my wedding

  • First off the ending credits will be my wedding song, and I would play the whole Zelda Ocarina of Time soundtrack (orchestrated version) in the background at my wedding reception as the guests are eating and mingling, and secondly, when I have kids I am going to play this soundtrack to my 'baby bump'.

  • they're not chickens, they're called cuccos..

  • Comment removed

  • Kinda reminds me of Earth Angel for some reason.

  • *sniff* Those chickens are very inspiring ( :

  • I will never forget that creepy cut scene where bongo bongo escapes out of the well....

  • I played this game 1998-1999 i think.. I was 4-5 years old.. This is pretty damn nostalgic music, and i will never forget the memories i've got from playing this wonderfull game :'<<

  • Lol jumpingguy, thanks for the vids, I appreciate them, but seriously just one nice picture of kakariko village will do, you don't need to start explaining things and telling people all sorts of things :P

And also lol, what's with the random non-LoZ pics? They're annoying.

  • Comment removed

  • lol "here's some chickens to pass the time", I wonder if that works during class

  • 8 people have that spider curse

  • C! C! Give me something with C!

  • @xPhillipsIIIx *Gives you a Car!*

  • @xPhillipsIIIx printf("Oh, hai!\n");

  • @xPhillipsIIIx This item doesn't seem to work here...

  • You could've put images of all the other's Kakariko villages of all the other Zeldas... just saying...

  • where on earth can i get this cd??????

  • One of my favorite Zelda songs...this version is amazing but is to slow and calming to be in a future game...it is still a great piece.

  • I always remember A link to the Past when hearing the Kakariko theme, it was the first time i heared the song, and it was truly amazing, Zelda forever!

  • its so wonderfull! very good job to the perfromers. they should be proud of this its really awsome. peacfull things like this are more rare in the world than anything elses. its beautifull in its own respect. so delicate this music hangs on the small strings of love we have for this type of beauty.

  • @JVUONGSTA That would be 'Nostalgia' And it's got me by the throat right now. haha

  • best game ever with Shenmue.

  • i did a rock version of this song which is my favourite of oot and i respect the song and koji but i wanted to do a more upbeat version, id be glad if u'd check it out :D

  • is Ocarina Of Time considered an RPG?

  • Gotta catch the cuccos! Haha! Good times...

  • 8 people preffer jusitn bieber

  • this music brings smiles to my heart every time i listen. it stires emothionsa. the orchestra did an amazing job on it it really grips you adn gives you goose bumps.

  • Goddammit... I wish I had the age of 8 again

  • Holy Crap..

  • 7 people don't know what true love is.

  • @MarkHansAvon Word's can't describe what this song means to the people it affects most... Amazing rendition. So glad I tuned in WZMR at random tonight

  • the only thing this piece needs is chickens raping eachother in the backround. that would be the closest to the original

  • I'm so happy right now. I got first chair clarinet at my school's band, so I get to play this as part of a solo (The triplets in the background.). It sounds a little quieter in this, but it's a little more prominent in my band director's version.

  • Look eddy, CHICKENS, awe can we keep them

  • I, too, wish I could replay this game for the first time. In a way I was lucky as it was the first game in the Zelda franchise I'd ever played, though I knew of them when I was a kid. So playing this game, being introduced to the glorious franchise. This game ruled my life for the two years I slowly played it, savoring it, beating it, and replaying it to find secrets, to hunt for the Triforce, to explore every inch of Hyrule, memorizing it. This arrangement - this whole CD - is epic.

  • my cock is riko too

  • cock-a-RIKO

riko means rich in spanish :3

  • this sounds so beauliful and Awesome

thay need to put in the game

  • I have the Hyrule Symphony CD. This arrangement of Kakariko Village is beautiful.

  • Makes me miss my grandparents in their village...

  • I could play this song on the ocarina the guide gave you the musical notes

  • so sad. All the old memories I had.

  • old times when i run away from chickens sniff

  • You have no idea how many times I pressed the replay button.

  • That Harp backing is so beautiful :)

  • to be able to relive the first moments of picking up and playing OoT for the first time. With Hyrule Symphony's rendition of those classic themes. god that would be amazing.

  • Sounds like Amazing Grace. That is a good thing.

  • chicken run was awesome.

  • Oh wait, this isnt the original song :(

  • Hahaha guys, imagine this song playing in your hometown! As soon as you get of the bus or car when coming home from work, this song starts playing!

  • Ok thats it, i'm downloading a freakin' emulator and this game now >:|

  • @Raymondmcf I tried it too, but it didn't make me happy...I think the memories are very great, and we remember that great music, but the games for themselfes are..good, but not as beautiful as I thought

  • So...so beautiful :') I...I wish Hyrule and all it's same features with background music exsisted to visit...like the dream land of peace and adventure you've always wanted to live in. No school..no worries...just fantasies and imagination with peaceful music :)

  • @Zeldafan1ify I think that's everyone's dream. :')

  • @MrFavorite01 i know right? :"D ahh this music is so beautiful.. I envy link XD

  • @Zeldafan1ify someone should make a Zelda-land =D Like Disneyland, but with Zelda instead. Would be fantastic!

  • @Diavolino1988 yeah that would be a great idea or something a nintendo land with not only zelda but other nintendo releated franchise's as well like mario, kirby, star fox, pokemon, donkey kong, metroid and maybe just maybe even earthbound a.k.a mother and fire emblem what do you think of that idea

  • @Diavolino1988 sorry what i meant to say is that i have thought something even better then zelda land there should a nintendo land

  • @Diavolino1988 oops i mean i thought of something even better then a zelda land there should be a nintendo land sorry i was typing too fast

  • @Diavolino1988 yeah ride up and go down the DEATH MOUNTAIN ROLLERCOASTER! or an Epona ride for the kids, A waterslide in Zora's domain, wax museums in hyrule castle, and don't forget the fishing, oh and you get a price if you hook the fisherman's hat :D

  • Owwww man!, this song makes remember my childhood....I´m crying now...T.T

  • beautifull

  • hmm... i would listen to this during a bubblebath while forgetting the worries of the day... erhm... if i was a girlish female... eh... who played stupid nintendo... yeah!

but im a man! i play call of douchey modern whorefare doosh *hides eucalyptus bath oil*... yeah!

  • @DaxB92 A girl who plays nintendo? DOES SUCH A THING EXIST?!

  • @Lugia625 They do... crushing your expectations however, I am not one of them... just a male finding it a shame that the masses neglect pieces of art such as these to subject them with other things in which, despite not devoid of art, they fail to see the beautiful aspects which are so obvious in games of a generation past.

  • @Lugia625

check out nintendo fan girl xD

  • I actually ended up crying while hearing this song.

  • @animeluver45

    wow...

  • wow that's soo epic it might have been the cridit song of oot.... koji kondo is godlike!

  • 1:32 army of chicks trained by the cookoos to get Link.

  • doesnt this video make u wanna own a little chicken? xD

  • I was disappointed in Twilight Princess when I found the chickens didn't attack you. At least there was still pigs in Wind Waker..I hope Skyward Sword has like, platypuses or something.

  • @hannybubbles Skyward Sword should have bunnies where if you kill one, a whole shitload of bunnies start trying to maul you to death.

  • syaoran1kun I think you can. Drugs... xD

  • RofL chikens.. xD

  • i want the chicken sounds in this song :D

  • @3n3rgy90 wut

  • i love this song and the video :)

  • what's with the chickens? lol hey the cute chicks feeding seem like they are from the Chicago Illinios Science of Industry in the hatching lab section. so cute

  • das hört sich an wie ein anime XD hayao miyazaki sollte mal nen zelda film machen :D

  • I will get my revenge...on those chickens...once and for all...

  • OMFG CHICKENS!!!!!!!!! so makes me less sad

  • I don't play a game like that in all of my life.... I hope the new ZELDA WII will be like that

  • ah good memories :)

  • I lent my version to a "friend" after completing it and i warned him not to save over my file!! I eventually got it back, my file was gone.... I was so pissed, but then i started from scratch a couple years later and was blown away for a second time, awesome.

  • this song brings back ol'good memories it toches my heart and that is saying something from a boy

  • I remember one day at class I was feeling so badly ill and felt like I was gonna pass out... then I heard this theme being played by some dude outside and I felt fine immediately, there's just such a warm and comforting feeling to this song. It's like being at home after being away a long time.

  • kükis XDD

  • Games like this won't return...

  • 0:20 to 0:33 I was instantly reminded of Rufus WainWright's version of Hallelujah.

  • For some reason, this reminds me of the hymn Amazing Grace :)

  • N64 is the only console I've ever owned. I have OoT, and no regrets about never hopping on the Playstation/XBox/etc. bandwagon.

  • maybe you should try gamecube

and try twighlight princess and windwaker

  • I remember when I first found this song on my brother's Zelda file... it was in the fishing pond.

I remember when I first discovered Kakariko, too. "There's another town!?"

  • thats from 'CHICKEN RUN'! [the chickens]

    omg i remember that

  • Remember if you hit them 3 times you get attacked by all the other chickens? XDDDDD

  • My favorite song of all zelda's songs ;D

  • Mine too!!!! I used to dwell in The Village for long time just to lisyen to this song in "A Link to the Past" so that my friends get so annyoed and Yelled "Hey move i! We ain't have all DAY!!!

  • i woke up with a headache. and this cured it.

  • It needs more cowbell.

  • haha will ferrel

  • lol! COWBELL!!

  • @FluffyBunniesOnFire ooh christopher walken... how you liven everything up in such subtle ways....

  • @FluffyBunniesOnFire i've got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell.

  • @FluffyBunniesOnFire hahahaha.

  • @FluffyBunniesOnFire hahahhahahahahahaha

  • @FluffyBunniesOnFire hmmmm... somehow, that reminds me of my musicteacher at school... hmmm...

  • uh oh nostalgia kicking in

  • Everytime I listen to it - Nostalgia

  • I can imagine this game with Orchestrated Music like this.

    Would sound much nicer.

  • that made my cornpops and my day taste amazing

  • man i wish I could forget that I have played this game so i could go back and say, "hey what game is this? it looks pretty fun." So I can relive that experence of playing the best game ever made for the N64. Replaying it brings back memories but nothing is as good as playing it for the first time.

  • Man, I so agree! But still, it's always a pleasure to play it again. ;)

  • yea same here, I just wish they could make a game like that again but sadly I dont think they could ever perfect another game again as great as they did LoZ OoT

  • its like a fond memory

  • yup, probably the best memory of a video game or the first time I pulled off a fatality in Mortal Kombat.

  • i play this game all the way through everyday since 1998

  • not only for n64..

  • OMG you're so right!

I hope that in the future it will be possible to erase the memories we want, so we can play that game for the first time again.

  • yea that would be awesome, or when they come out with like a 3D simulator room, they remake the game so that it seems like ur actually Link and playing the game in first person view.

  • @syaoran1kun Yeah but then the game would seem crap to us, compared to other games these days, and we wouldn't enjoy it as much, also we wouldn't get nostalgic over it.

  • @DDofCourage Nostalgia takes time dude, two weeks after I finished beating this game way back when, I didn't get all jazzed up about it. Give the game time, let it stew, if it was a good game, 20 years from now you will look back on the game and that wonderful feeling of nostalgia will be waiting for you... I can't wait!!!

  • @syaoran1kun

Next year we can play it in 3D with slightly better graphics wherever we want :D

  • @syaoran1kun

    god your soooo right :'(

  • @syaoran1kun I prefer another game so good as this borns :D

  • @syaoran1kun you're so right. it was so great to play it the first time

  • @syaoran1kun I've been thinking of the very same thing OMG I can't believe some1 else thought the same THING :D !!!!

  • @syaoran1kun I disagree entirely... i for one don't wan't to forget some of my fondest memories of the TRUE first time i played it, i just wish we'd be able to re-live those moments.

  • @Raymondmcf Oh my, someone's finally got it.

50 stars for you, my friend.

  • @syaoran1kun 6 thumbs up : )

  • @syaoran1kun

This is response to something I said btw. I want thumbs!

  • @syaoran1kun fuck, i don't want to lose my memory. if i would play this game now i would just say "wow, pretty bad graphic". the memories i have of this game is something i'll bring for the rest of my life as i played it when i was still a child.

  • @Lamp896 I still play it to this day. =P But since some people let graphics get in the way of a great game, the remake of OoT is out so those people can enjoy it too.

  • @Lamp896 Watching my little sister burn through this masterpiece right now. The graphics didn't get in the way then, if they do now it's your own fault.

  • @codykicklighter HERE HERE. XXD

  • @codykicklighter Masterpiece... hahaha. Perhaps for its day, but... no.

The graphics are a total trainwreck. It's like trying to play E.T. on the 2600. That's the way a lot of that generation was, but N64 gets it the worst thanks to its terrible textures. The first time I played this I could barely make out what anything was supposed to be, but I don't "fault" anyone. It's the best gaming offered at an awkward time.

Some games age like a fine wine, and Ocarina of Time is a White Zinfandel.

  • @Lamp896 no man, I thought it would be like that too but I picked up the game last week for the first time in 10 years. It was the best 4 days in a really long time :')

I suggest you go dust that nintendo or download project64 and just play. I promise you that you wont regret it If you give it an honest attempt.

    ..▲

    ▲▲

  • @Lamp896 that's what i thought at first, but when i replayed majora's mask it still had the same beatiful effect on me. it didn't ruin my memories, it Enhanced them! i got to play the game i love with a whole new perspective!

  • @syaoran1kun I wish i could do this so often!!!!

  • CAnt......Find.....Nintendo...64 (Goes in Corner And cries for 3 weeks)

  • its pretty good that symphony!

hey don't matter about pics, i prefer only hear the music... hey thanks for upload!

  • hope ya feel guilty playin the snazy wii in your comfortablely heated home while some poor kid slaved away to make it in the freezing cold

  • I don't get the chiken stuff hahahahahahaha

  • Found my Gamecube today! I usually play my LOZ games on wii but i like to bring back memories (late at night in the basement trying to defeat ganondorf while my mom yells at me to got to bed and i say 1 more minuite every hour).........lol

  • Love it. When I got my first N64, my parents at first contemplated leaving it at my aunt and uncle's house so I would only be able to play it there, because they thought it would be too much of a distraction. But I had it at home anyways, but they still set time limits on how long I could play and when.

  • lol ya i always hated that. the freaking timer with the buzzer, scared the shit out of me..

  • I CANT FIND MY ORCARINA OF TIME FOR GC! *goes in a corner and starts to cry*
