@Reflexo101 you drop it for practice, because if you ever are in a fire fight you dont want habitaully set the magizine down, it is a waisted movement that could cost your life, drop and reload is the way to go.
Train how you fight. If you get in the habit of wasting time holding empty magazines, it will bite you in the ass. The only time I would recommend not dropping is when conducting a magazine exchange.
@teamleader07 I had jamming issues with a P99c Walther. The recoil seemed to be quite a bit more significant. I prefer the Glocks. Maybe the PPS is better quality the the P99. A shame, because it was ergonomically a better fit
I wonder what would happen if you made a drum mag that held 100 rounds and you made it woud fit into the handle. That would be beasty. Baby Glock+100 round drum mag=monster.
N8 Tactical is the most amazingly comfortable holster I've ever seen. I got the professional for my Glock26 and I wear it all day, and it's barely noticeable. Be careful though, you might forget it's there ;)

What is the trigger pull like compared to the Ruger LC9. My daughter got the LC9 and she likes it but my wife can't get used to the pull as it is rather long.

My neighbor and I shoot just about every weekend, and we're attending a US Training Center class next month to improve our grip and stance, etc. I'm amazed at how well the G26 does shoot long range. Much to your chagrin I have the Pearce 2-rnd extensions on my G26 mags, but they truly give me more control. Best 2 U!

@lasoyatang Do you want choice fora concealed carry? The 26 would not be my first choice,or last choice. I think Kel Tec created a new CCW, EDC market, a so so gun, I don,t care for them to much. However all the big boys S&W,Ruger, now Beretta, etc are playing catch up. They all had their head in the sand about CCW size.
My feeling is year by year the Big boys will introduce something smaller,lighter,and more common sense.

Just my opinion, the Glock 26 is probably the best Glock choice. It will do anything the bigger Glocks will do. Ammo less expensive available everywhere.
The Glock 27 kicks more. the mid size are simply bigger, not better.
I don't carry the 26 chambered, my choice, my life. I have double action guns to carry. All My Glocks have crimson Trace Laser grips on them, also my life my choice. I have the pinky extension on the 26 also, Hickok doesn't like them. The bigger magazines fit just fine also.

i have a question for you...i am in law enforcement, i carry a glock 40 full size as a primary weapon...we are allowed to use as a back up and off duty carry either a sub compact glock 40 or 9....or a smith and wesson j-frame snub nose .38+p...i wanted to know what you thought would be the ideal backup/off duty carry weapon...it will not be my primary gun, the smaller the better, and if you do choose the the sub compact, stay with the 40 or go to the 9 since there will be no extra mags

@jfriedman08 i carry 147 grain bullets in my 26. Its not alot of powder when it comes to 9mm guns. 147 is generally a subsonic round originally made for use in suppressed weapons(specifically the MP5 SD). The FPS of it is around 990 compared to a standard 127 plus P which is going to be around 1250 - 1275. The nice thing about the 147 is that there wont be as much muzzle climb as a 115 grain or 124 grain rounds produced. So you can keep on target with rapid succession. Its not power, its weight.

@lms43230 im not sure what holster he is using in this video but in his newer Glock 19,23,26 vids her is using a Crossbreed super tuck IWB which is one of the best ccw holsters on the market
that short barrell has amazing accuracy great shooting. im considering geting that pistol in a compact version. my only concern is putdown power. i open carry a 40.cal s&w and that pistol is fairly accurate and has tons of power but also a little bit lot of recoil. not quite as accurate as this glock. no. but i am a good shot and can hit with a 40. i want that nine but like i said i dont know if i could trust a 9mm to put someone down. i prefer a glock 10mm, do u no if those are just as accurate
The accuracy of this glock is amazing. I worried that with a foreshortened barrel, it would suffer. Now I'm convinced any misses would be due to the operator, so I'm buying one. Cool vid. Definitely helped me make an informed purchasing decision. Thank you.

@hickok45: thank you for your videos. I have been looking for a CC hangun for a month or so. I was set on the glock 27 from your videos but went to the range and was limp wristing it and it would malfunction. Went back another day and tried the glock 26 and fell in love immediately. im thinking of cutting the grip down on a g19 to a 26 size...then i would have the full side slide....and all the pluses that come with it.....bad idea?

@jfriedman08 i carry 147 grain bullets in my 26. Its not alot of powder when it comes to 9mm guns. 147 is generally a subsonic round originally made for use in suppressed weapons(specifically the MP5 SD). The FPS of it is around 990 compared to a standard 127 plus P which is going to be around 1250 - 1275. The nice thing about the 147 is that there wont be as much muzzle climb as a 115 grain or 124 grain rounds produced. So you can keep on target with rapid succession. Its not power, its weight.

@lms43230 im not sure what holster he is using in this video but in his newer Glock 19,23,26 vids her is using a Crossbreed super tuck IWB which is one of the best ccw holsters on the market

that short barrell has amazing accuracy great shooting. im considering geting that pistol in a compact version. my only concern is putdown power. i open carry a 40.cal s&w and that pistol is fairly accurate and has tons of power but also a little bit lot of recoil. not quite as accurate as this glock. no. but i am a good shot and can hit with a 40. i want that nine but like i said i dont know if i could trust a 9mm to put someone down. i prefer a glock 10mm, do u no if those are just as accurate

The accuracy of this glock is amazing. I worried that with a foreshortened barrel, it would suffer. Now I'm convinced any misses would be due to the operator, so I'm buying one. Cool vid. Definitely helped me make an informed purchasing decision. Thank you.
