Very familiar with the 360. Have owned one for 41 years. It appears your expansion chamber has rusted through, Smoke should only come from the tail pipe. As it is, the interior of the car will smell of exhaust when you drive. Getting a good seal to the very end of the exhaust system is not easy but necessary for safe operation. Good luck.

b4 we put glowplugs replacement in our f250. startup the truck would disappear, in a smoke screen. no lie. it would truly disappear.
