Well Sailor Mercury's was kind of a downer, but the acting was good, Mars was ok, but still kinda made me a little sad , Jupiter was a lot better because the special effects for her put a lot more pazzaz into her transformation. Venus' transformation was kinda cute:3 but i as let down with the Sailor moon transformation :(. But I think it was awesome to do live action transformation sailor scout bits.

The reason why the show revolves around the Moon is because all the Greek mythology that is attached to the Moon. The whole story of the Moon goddess falling in love with the human is found in Greek myths and a lot of the show is taken from such basis.

Serenity from the outside, Endymion from with Elysion. That may be why she is leader, since she guarded Earth and every environmentalist will tell you how awesome our planet is.

This is just to clear up a few points for those who may not have seen or know much about the live-action series. Minako's transformation is as it is because the actress who played her had some input into the show's overall production. Early on in the series, Usagi thinks that Sailor V/Minako is their princess and continued to think so after she switched to sailor venus. To emphasize Venus being different from the others, she was given the noticeably different transformation.

i honestly think the live action transformation makes a bit more since with the hair color being different in sailor form then in normal form. Majority of people in japan have black hair. If two people, one japanning to be a super hero, having the same rare hair color shows up, then they are obviously the same person.

@rainbow19913 No they aren't. If you read the manga it will actually show you how they change because there's no transformation scenes in the original manga series. When they change their bodies just get covered in ribbons and magical things(eg. Mercury - water) that turn into their senshi outfits. That's how they really change.
