I am a fortunate person to have been to the Tinku fight in Chayanta, Norte Potosi Bolivia. They walk and dance towards the main plaza where tinku fighters literally fist fight. The tinku in Chayanta & Macha is not acting. Fighters get broken noses, split lips and swollen faces. It is comon that 1 or 2 or more people die at a meet. Those etnic villagers are: Laimes, Jucumanis, Panacachis, Parakas, Kurtas, Qaqachacas, etc. In this clip, the dancers make moves as if they prepare to fight. H.V.
