Yes thankyou for you kind comments. The train motors were going quite high pitched. I'm taking a guess it would've done 85 kph. At the moment due to track works for the extension which is significantly underway beautifully and the upgrades to level crossings and signal/power relocation there's an implementation speed of 65 kph until after X'mas. Nice video! It is unlikely that the train was speeding, given that it was a Comeng — it is unlikely that it could exceed that speed (by a significant amount) on that section. Considering that the paralleling roadway has a speed of 60kph, and the train was just managing to overtake the cars, it would appear that the driver was doing between 70 — 80kph at the time… :)
