What do you think about this?? Have you seen that '''''movie'''''' ?? Thanks a lot!!
PD: Great video!! I love La Candelaria, but there are better prossecions, you should have seen San Benito!!! It's a very big paso with 7 figures. Jesus, Pontius Pilate, 2 roman soldiers, an ethiopian slave, Pilates wife and her servant. Watch a video here in Youtube called 'San Benito - Alma de Dios' ....
Another celebration they mixed was the 'San Fermines', that is celebrated in Pamplona, in the north of Spain, you know, the bulls running through the streets, in the movie there were people dressed up with the traditional clothes, all white and a red handkerchief on their neck.
And also, the procession in the movie was definitely not like Sevilla's.
And the city was full of palm trees!! And all the houses were full of arabic tiles!! SEVILLA IS NOT LIKE ARABIA AND IT'S NOT LIKE MEXICO!!
I'm glad you like it, in fact, I'm from Sevilla and I'm not surpised anyone wants to come here to see our Holly Week after that dredful movie 'Mission Imposible 2', where they showed a sinister holly week. They mixed all these different Spanish traditional celebrations like 'The Fallas', this is a celebration where they burn statues of famous characteres. But the Fallas are in Valencia, not in Sevilla!!!
Por si no tienes nadie que te guíe, búscate un buen plano del centro y un programa de horarios y recorridos. Y sobre todo pregunta. Te evitarás rodeos y esperas.
Here's something weird! The procession is passing by the Seville office of Citibank's Spanish bank! Amazing, isn't it? On Friday's webcast of the Good Friday service from the Vatican in Rome, I saw 3 deacons singing the passion while some guy was waking around in the background with his minicam. Wow! Even in the most holiest places, you see the 21st. century in full view!
