  • TORANSUFOMA~!!!

  • those Japanese G1 TFS are elusive i know that much especally unused stuff

  • Oh-shit, the Japanese really Know how to sell kids products, thankgod these commercials weren’t in the states, the children would have had total mental/nervous break downs by seeing these commercials.

    Well, either that or seizures......LOL

  • Japanese can make commercials ! these eat and shit out the us/uk ones

    mini movie's!

  • LOLOLOLOLO AT 0:06 chinese guy:oh my god a shoe! XD and 0:26 oh mah goo a tissue XD

  • i have that power master prime still in it's box in my loft (attic for Americans)

  • what is the name of the Astrotrain/ trains joiner bot called?

  • Very nice Evan1975. Is there any commercial clip of Black Zarak?

  • The Japanese are really that good in marketing strategy! That's why until now their products are worth drooling! lolz

  • 1:28 Megazord !

  • LOL way better than the american ones! LOL

  • No more offensive Gollywogs after 89! Seriously though by the time Victory came about, Takara finally got wise and ditched their mascot, though they did bring it back very breifly by painted it blue for some reason.

  • Notice there's no "Toys do not actually move on their own" message? These were made back before people became stupid.

  • there were severe restrictions on US toy commercials, you had to show only what the toy could do andwhat the play patterns were in real life, alot of the Japanese ads show things like Ultra Magnus with glowing eyes and TF's transforming 'by themselves' like SixShot, or aluding to Metal Hawks 'articulated legs' if they had that in America it would be grounds to sue them for false advertising...

  • So they made recolors of Jazz and Inferno into Targetmasters...despite the fact that Hot Rod, Kup and Blurr already had Targetmaster toys and decided not to include them.

  • who are those 6 trains that combine into one giant robot

  • Not too many flying trains nowadays.

  • why is optimus soo short?

  • AWESOME!!

  • 4:54 MINE

  • they made Transformers look more exciting.

  • OMG these commercials are awesome!

  • Grandus was a ridiculous toy to be called Transformer

  • Metal Hawk is my holy grail of Transformers.

  • That's Dakko-chan. Yeah... they don't use Dekko any more.

  • @sagalian, It's racist to us Americans but the Japanese don't have these oftentimes annoying notions of political correctness, so a blackface character isn't offensive to them.

  • @sagalian it's a gollywog, if that's what you mean.

  • no joke but japan is so advance. . . . while we americans were still using kids to show off toys, the japs were using stop-motion. . . . . . .

  • who made TRANSFORMERS?

    Japan or America?

  • a little of both. Japan first created the basic idea with diaclone then hasbro purchased the rights to the toys and came up with the characters and story. After a while it made its way back over to japan as transformers and the rest is history

  • @magma3000 Japan of course, Takara created them, but Hasbro owns the rights outside Japan

  • Stop animation rules!

  • 3:33 wtf?

  • Comment removed

  • these comm are awesome

  • pls upload this again with higher quality

  • Its not fair that only the Japanse version of Fortress Maximus has the Master Sword.

  • Hasbro had tested Japanese Master Sword before. the sword miserably failed at American safety standard (Ironically, more and more Hasbro TFs and Joes are Chinese made... everyone knows that Red Chinese has a bad reputation on product safety and standard)

  • no ugly children in the commercials carrying their transformers and playing with another kid making them fly into another transformer hahaha. Yeah, these commercials win. Stop animation rules!

  • "TRANSFOMAAAAAA!"

    Pure awesomeness

  • love overlord

  • wow a great collection of japanese transformers commercials including the targetmasters and overlord

  • WOW I remember I use to own a Sky Garry bootleg.

  • WOW I remember I use to own a skycarrier bootleg.

  • Yea, these Japanese commercials are definitely far superior than the ones in the U.S.

  • hay en cuanto me vendes a galvatron o a hot rodimus o a ultra magnus

  • Jesus, the Japanese REALLY know how to sell toys in thier country. These Transformers toy commercials mop the floor with with any of the North American ones, past and present. I REALLY like the commercial at 4:58-5:23.

  • the first comercial gave me a seizure

  • Why do the Japanese always have cool commercials?

  • Fire and explosions, too! I love these commercials!

  • holy crabs!! I just realised Jackshot had 6 transformations!!! no wonder hes called Ninja Destron!!

  • oh...he's called Sixshot...I misheard that narrator... XD

still, he's a damm cool bot!!!

  • Great video. Do you, or anyone else, have the commercials for the Victory and Zone toy lines? I also wish Hasbro would bring these figures to the U.S.. They could call it the Transformers: Seibertron line.

  • I think I might have other Japanese commercials. Are there any specific ones you're looking for?

  • Just anything you have or can find from the Victory and Zone lines would be cool. I saw a few episodes not too long ago and thought the robots looked sweet. I'm curious as to how the toys looked in the commercials. Whenever you get the chance to look. Thanks.

  • black zarak an grand maximus commericals

  • @ForceMaximus84 Calling a sub line after a name that sounds similar to their home planet, may become very conmfusing. They should just be sold as they are, but with an altered name for the Poweredmasters from Zone and the Brestforce could become simply the Chestforce.

  • WOW...Back in the 80's the Japs are really great with toy-animation...The US version is very lame...usually shows a kid moving the toys and thats about it...while the Japanese version convincingly "tricked" the kids that those those toys are somewhat alive on its own with explosions/landslides and even fires burning around making the toys even more "alive"....After watching those commercials, I too wanted them TF's...lol

  • They sure were pros at stop motion and miniatures after doing all those Godzilla movies... So much better than the US commercials.

  • Neato!!! I REALLY WANT THE TRAINBOTS!!!! AND SIXSHOT!

  • Same, I also want the Predacons, Sky Garry, Overload and God Ginrai.

  • find them on ebay!

  • I love the Headmasters...I wish I had one of those toys.

  • the japanese commercials are so cool with the animation. it really shos off the toy. and gives you a little story. the explosions are super cool too.

  • perfect quality AND perfect picture.
