  • muito bom!!! amo minha esposa

  • Yeah, this song is realy good but it realy sad at all. We destroy our world, so we need to live in what we have left.

  • This song sings to my soul... It makes me sad, but I love it.

  • What an awesome song. If you haven't lived in the country it's hard

to imagine these things happening. I wouldn't move from the country

for anything. Beautiful photo at the beginning. We are all on horseback

here still. We even go by horse to the local saloon. They are our designated

drivers home. When i go to Fla the indian reservation is there and it is another

reminder of how life used to be. We are country here & Cowboys & Cowgirls

we are just good ole' Country folks.. *Country Girl*

  • ...somebody disliked this? :/ Im so sad now.

    I love this song!

  • i just wonder what kind of soul could dislike this.... :( salutations from Romania.

  • Richard Thompson is the guitarist.

  • Are you listening to this my T? :) For some reason I was thinking of you and thought of this. There I go again, thinking of my sweet T. <3

  • I always thought that was Richard Thompson's song .. iTunes must have mislabeled it .. one of my favorite songs ever.

  • That's Richard Thompson's voice .. not Don Edwards

  • @rurugby Na mate, its the same track from the documentary which in the ending credits says it says, 'Coyotes' by Bob Mcdill, performed by Don Edwards

  • I am 2 years pld and i love this song.... when i grow up i want to be coyote

  • dont blame don edwards for the misadventures of one silly treadwell

  • @23runner4 Hilarious man!

  • This song is for my pet coyote, Yodi. The game warden found out about her and took her away from me and killed her.

RIP, Yodi, executed by the State of North Dakota in May of 2011 for having the audacity to be somebody's pet.

  • I'm 22 from Vancouver, i love this song too for some reason. I have never been in the wilderness in my life. Grizzly man is a beautiful movie, a tale of a crazily misguided idealism. exquisitely pieced together by Herzog... Documenting a man with a pure heart, eventually destroyed by his naivety.. Dying believing in something beautiful, although impossible.. For man to reconcile with nature.

  • I'm a 37 year old portuguese man and I love this song too!

  • i heard this song from the film grizzly man

  • I'm a 29 year old Irish man and I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter if your a 17 year old English girl, a 57 year old German male or a 29 year old Irish man, you just cant help but get nostalgic about this song, absolutely love it =)

  • I am a real cowboy from southern Idaho and northern Nevada. Never a truer song was wrote. Reminds me of the men who taught me to ride, rope, and trail. Thankyou Grandpa, Curt, Grant, and Thom for some of the best times of my life. R.I.P.,boys, see you soon.

  • @alone1again Aawh, really? I'm not from America, but when I read a comment like this it makes me miss the old days, even though I wasnt even there. I feel like I missed things, important things, like a grandpa teaching me to ride, rope and trail, makes me sad:(

  • kk chill nmr probs uit nederland echt lekker nummertje haha P.S. kben 15

  • i m a 23 year old boy from slovakia..... and i love this song :)

  • Im 18, gay and I love men

  • I'm Sean I'm 23 from Ireland and I'm an alco... I mean I love this song.

  • I'm a 20 year old male and I KNOW why I love this song.

  • fucking superb don what a song.

  • good good song!

  • i really hope that the oil runs out..then the half of the human society wil die!

after 40 years no cars driving .. everybody makes there own food en catch there own food i hate human society i hate this computer im on i hate to work for a boss i hate paying tax ... give me a gun and a rambo knife i will survive and live free! human kind is destroying the earth

  • @EgoSapientia I don't agree with people dying but I agree that people should be more like me ... or us. Able to survive in two different environments.

  • the outlaws all may be gone but theres a few cowboys left

  • You'd be surprised how many cowboys exist today. In the West, strangely enough they walk/live like other folks. If you want to discover cowboys learn to ride a horse and associate with people who live/work on ranches. In California, many cowboys are Hispanic and we call them vaqueros. Amazingly enough, it's possible to find living breathing Indians in the US. We call them Native Americans. If you want to discover the remnants of the West then one has to look for it.

  • Grizzly man brought me here.

  • 4 people own ibanez guitars

  • @Inmaas exactly, but some people said he deserved to die, which is completely wrong... He, atleast in his mind, was helping those he thought needed help, aka the bears! Can't blame the guy for trying

  • I'm from England and I love this :D

  • Grizzly man.

  • Hey, I'm a supporter of timothy and what he stood for... I'm not gonna lie though, he was a little screwed up, but he didn't deserve to die. R.i.p tim, wish more people had your determination and persistence.

  • @Jrskeetpro He lived for it and wanted to die for it.

  • @inmaas i wouldn't say he wanted to die as in the scene with him talking about chicks he says he really does not wat to be killed by a bear, in other scenes he says he would happily die for them but this is because he was planning on putting those scenes in his complination/ movie. Yes he would rather die than a grizzly but he did not WANT to die

  • lovely one

  • i m a 57 year old man from germany.... i love this song!

  • Never heard of Don Edwards or this song . But my cousin showed me , And now I know this song and this man like the back of my hand.

  • it has captivated me, every musical note, every bit of the song. And I spanish... good music has no boundaries

  • I thought it was about coyotes

  • i knew this beautiful song from the film grizzly man, very lovely movie about a man that loved the nature and the bears. I recomend to see it for everyone that loves nature. Sorry for my english.

  • @noodelsmad you should warn people of what hapened to that guy in the end, being that he was eaten by one of the bears he was looking after. the man just got far closer to those animals than anyone ever should

  • Wow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this should have been in the film Into the wild :))

  • so good

  • Que mierda de cancion parece una burra pariendo..

  • never let the corperate scum win..fight them ....thanks for the post...peace

  • beautiful song.

Only I sang it for a coyote and he attacked me .

He didn't like it I think.

    I had to shoot it,sorry.

I heard don edwards shot ones a man who didn't like the song.

    weird comment dude

  • hoo-yip-hoo-yip-hoo... making this my ringtone!!!

  • Im a 17 year old english girl... why do I love this song? :D

  • @twinny94 Maybe because this song is awesome and better then todays Bullshit!

  • @twinny94 i'm 16,you love it because you are smart :D

  • @twinny94

    Becayse its a beautifull song:D

  • @twinny94 its cuz u have good taste in muisic

  • @twinny94

    because it's so sensitive

  • Maybe you were a cowgirl in another life...!

  • Comment removed

  • @twinny94 Do people in England spend much time singing "woo-yip, wooooo-yip, woo"? Because that might explain it. We do it all the time over here.

  • @levanyzzuf hahaha unfortunately no, i do, but my friends have never heard this song. It just so happend i stumbled across this beautiful song. :)

  • Perhaps because you're sensitive and appreciate beauty in things you've never experienced? Unfortunately, many people reject stuff for silly reasons. I was guilty at your age. My parents listened to Sinatra, Tony Bennett, 1940s-50s pop music. I hated it. Today, I realize I wasn't rejecting the music so much as my parents. These singers were great, perhaps better then most contemporary singers. It's wonderful to appreciate what is different. It took me decades to appreciate this.

  • @twinny94 cause you have sence for a good music

  • @twinny94 cause you are a 17 year old romantic english girl ? :)

  • @twinny94 because it touches your heart and makes your life feel a bit warmer again ... his voice is just great to listen to and you have a good feeling about things that are good.

  • @twinny94 Because it has everything to do with Texas, why wouldn't you love it?

  • Top Song From a Top Singer

  • This is probably the last thing my mum and I shared.

  • Without wanting to sound like a nob, there's something very charismatic, very nostalgic and communicative, descriptive about his singing.

  • thank you for this song.

  • i think posting the song on youtube for all to play and listen to is totally fine. posting the link to download, no matter how easy it is to find elsewhere online, no matter how many or how few will download it or buy it, is something else, something i have trouble supporting. my two cents...

  • @davood14 haha that's funny

  • I fully agree with u alone1again they are praising idiots timothy treadwell and the guy that died in a bus were both idiots you dont get close to bears like that he was a moron fuck the people that dont think that

  • so powerful :)

  • Do you morons even know what this song means? Treadwell is bear scat all over a buituful Alaskan meadow, and good ridence! The man wasn't hero, he was a dink fucking around with stuff he had no clue about. Glad he is dead! BEAR CHOW!

  • Now the long horns are gone

    And the drovers are gone

    The Comanche's are gone

    And the outlaws are gone

    Geronimo is gone

    And Sam Bass is gone

    And the lion is gone

And TreadWell is gone .. ! Grizzly Man

  • Rest in peace timothy treadwell.. still love you

  • Don, thankyou for keeping our storys alive. Your music takes me back to my childhood to the best days of my life. To the cowboys who are gone now, Grandad, Curt, Tom, thankyou. You will all be missed more than you will ever know, and to all the boys still chasen cows in sothern Idaho and northern Nevada. Gods speed, boys.

  • watch don sing it live

  • I love this song. I have a pet coyote.

  • Awesome song but i would love to see Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen singing this one! :D

  • Grizzly Man

  • If anyone reports this to youtube you deserve to die.. peace

  • I get so much shit for loving this song as much as I do!! Whatever, because it's beautiful.

  • Great song! It reminds me of an old cowboy I knew from Pecos County I met a long time ago, mostly because he used to talk like this all the time. :D

  • Great song for a great documentary. When I first heard this I thought it sounded like Springsteen.

  • and treadwell is gone x

  • beautiful.

  • r.i.p tim n amie

  • The first time I heard this song was on 'Grizzly Man'. I'm glad I have found the whole version, as the song sounded cheesy on that documentary, in full though the song is beautiful.

  • Beautiful song, makes us wonder about our ancestors, and respect those who have inherited their vision.

  • That song is about a real tough Cowboy and it's a real man song. And now it has been made famous by that wussy Treadwell. If the man in that song had encountered a Grizzly bear, he would've shot the damn bear.

  • @MommiDonni1 You miss the point of the song. Though I agree it didn't have a place in the documentary, it is about coexisting with nature. Cowboys were as wild as the land they lived on, the song is about the suppression of that wilderness and civilization coming to the west. Your definition of a real man saddens me as well, Treadwell defended the defenseless, it takes a certain something to stand up for something, especially like that.

  • @MommiDonni1 Youre a complete moron. The whole point in this song is that the cowboy is mourning how wild and full of animals the country used to be, and now everything has been killed - i.e shot. And if you have to shoot something to prove your manliness, it sounds to me like youve got some real insecurity issues...
