I remember going through the gas chamber at basic. To be totally honest with you I puked my guts out when I got out of there. It seemed to effect people in different ways. For instance there was one lucky guy in my group where the gas didn't effect him at all.

This is weak compared to what the gas chamber is REALLY like! We were in there with our masks off for 20 or 30 seconds and by the time they let you out, all you could do was cough, gag and puke! Then they expected us to eat lunch right after that!

I used to put people though the chamber. HAHA! One time I bet the other instructors I could just walk in the chamber and run around for a while. When I went in they all held the entrance door shut so I could not get out. Dicks!

sheeeeit....at Benning, 80 of use were in one room and we had our mask on for about 2 minutes...the other 8 minutes was filing people out, only after making them say a general order....guys were puking and one guy was running around screaming that he was dying and was grabbing everybody. Our damn masks didn't even work...they were all jacked up and as soon as you walked in, the room was almost solid green and u were coughing.

Thats way bullshit i agree. I was held in the tear gas chamber for a good 20 seconds. Enough time to make you cry, cough, and maybe beg for air.
