I believe Huang Xiao Ming definitely is way better than Dylan Kuo. Even though I would rather have Huang as the main lead winning the girl, to have Peter Ho as the good looking one, I don;t think he is qualified. His looks just doesn't cut it.

Oh! Latest news; the filming of the drama is finished! The whole production team had a wrap-up party at the end of last month, so I guess this means we only have to wait for the airing date to be announced. Hopefully it's early this fall! Btw, it seems like Huang Xiao Ming had to go with a wig in Summer's bubble... hopefully it's not throghout the whole drama! Dang it, I sure liked the hairstyle he had in this preview! Wish he could have kept it...

OK, my last ranting post here. The rich guy Ou Chen is the main male lead, i.e. it's Peter Ho *sigh* I really wish it was Huang Xiao Ming instead, he fits the role so much better and he's definitely more good-looking! I find Peter Ho to be ugly and not a very good actor... but I dunno he might surprise me on the latter. My theory regarding the recast is that Peter wasn't willing to give up the lead role if it wasn't for Dylan Kuo, which is why the roles got changed once HuangXiaoMing was casted.

(continuation from the previous post): But then, apparantly there was this whole recast thing (I've yet to find out the reasons behind that... it just happened!) which ended with the guys switching roles; Peter Ho as the rich guy Ou Chen and Huang Xiao Ming as the adopted Luo Xi. There hasn't been any changes in the cast since then and they've already started filming the drama so I doubt there'll be any more changes like that. This preview seems to confirm the cast as well.

OK, some clarification of the male roles. Based on my research, the original casting of the male leads were: Peter Ho as the adopted son Luo Xi and Dylan Kuo as the rich guy Ou Chen. Peter Ho really wanted him on board but due to various reasons Dylon Kuo dropped out and so Huang Xiao Ming was casted instead. I'm a bit unsure about this, but I think Huang Xiao Ming was supposedly casted for the (now available) rich guy role.

Barbie's boyfriend is rich guy XiaoMing bac in HS. Then Peter comes into her family as an adopted son. Eventually, Barbie get's along well w/ him despite his flaws in the beginning. A series of events lead to the split of these 3 ppl and they meet again later, boyfriend w/ amnesia, a famous bro who left on bad terms, and Barbie is struggling just to support her and her brother, so she decides to enter the entertainment industry as well. And the destiny of these 3 tangles up again basically.

I like the female lead, Xia Mo. She's the type of character who is strong on the surface but also very weak on the inside. Kinda like Maron from KKJ if you know the anime. Plus, Xia Mo is a very clever and level-headed thinker except for when it comes to her brother who's her biggest weakness. All in all, I think she's one of those most intriguing characters I've heard of....next to Haruhi from Ouran.
