  • Holla! Have you tried - fast abs magic (just google it)? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my buddy got great 6 pack abs and lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • 40mins resistance training & 20mins cardio interval training is best thing u can do. Forget 1hr cycling or running it's boring.

    anyone who believes this has never done pro-sports.... first, 4hrs/day you'll gain virtually NO muscle (no recovery time and too much cardio)

  • No one has to work out more than 20 minutes a week IF you do it right - check out "Body By Science" by Doug MCGuff - he's also on youtube.... stop listening to these stuck in the 60's ignoramuses

  • When I detox at least a little and then eat 1500 calories a day I lose weight fast if i work out sit ups walking or dancing I lose weight even faster like 10lbs a week or more. I'm a female.

  • @cajuncurlzz water/tea fasting, i also take 1 tablespoon of castor oil on an empty stomach and I drop water weight and flush my digestive system this way. I read about n various sites and blosg before I did it. I'm kinda lazy...so I don't work out much besides dancing. I don't do any back to back detoxing besides water/tea fasting for a max of 3 days. Ive never gone past 2 but I lose 10lbs each time and I do situps so my tummy is not just flat but tight.

  • If you read the info box, it states: 4 hours a week, not a day...I don't think that he would allow four hours a day, when his program is indicating 2 hours a week of weight/resistance training and two 45 minute sessions of cardio. Just saying...:)

  • 4 Hours of Excercise a day is over training. Micheal Phelps does 4 hours a day, but he does do it all at the same time. So if the top Olympic Swimmer as himself does not even to that much, you think its good for someone just starting out? You should work out NO MORE than 2 hours a day. After that, you have nothing left to burn, no matter how much fat deposits you may have. Your body needs food on regular intervals to operate.

  • Just like boxing if your new to the sport and barely gettin into it your not gona train the same as sumone thats been doing it all the time. Just like anything else u start from the bottom and work yourself up.

  • i need to lose weight and fight muscle. Most ppl think that a woman cannot get muscle as she is a woman...blah blah..I am a woman just gave birth a year ago to a bouncing baby boy...am over 50 lbs overweight. I am 5'.4", weigh 178 lbs.

  • Find your BMR (base metabolic rate), eat slightly (say, 200-300 calories) below that, healthily. Hit the weights 3+ times a week. If you have time left, do some cardio or something.

    Order, roughly:

    1- Good Food

    2- Weight training, full body

    3- Cardio

    Of course women can gain muscle, but it takes a lot more work before you get visible results. Women who fear become "bulky": Don't. :)

  • why is 12 weeks the magic number for most people and for most programs? any time I have been fighting to get in shape and look great, it has always taken me about 12 weeks to feel that I have hit a peak in training. since i tend to go from one extreme to the other in fitness (gain and lose weight often) how can I push past the 12 week cycle and keep progressing each week there after? I know it is a lifestyle change but the burn out factor always hits me at the end of a 12 week program.

    Also, newbs gain muscle pretty quick! 2 stone muscle in a year is totally possible!

  • its due to the amount of nutrients there muscles really do need

    some of the guys are working out like 2 or 3 times a day

  • He's not trying to lose weight, he's trying to lose fat and gain muscle. Could result in no net change in weight whatsoever :)
